I saw a “pro” break up a very juicy fun 3 AM 2-2 PLO game at the Aria because he wouldn’t shut up about something related to a moving button and had to have the floor called over so he could get his small blind back. If I made a living playing poker I’d try to remember that my first job is to keep the customers happy.

One small nitpick - on the hand where you folded 10-10 preflop, wouldn't AK have beaten you by rivering broadway, or was the graphic wrong?
Since I cut away so quickly, I'd wondered if anyone would ask about this. You're the first. The big blind squeezer had AQ and the all-in shortstack had AK and ended up with Broadway. So, in this theoretical scenario of a multiway all-in, I'd have won the much larger side pot.

As for the first paragraph, really happy to hear all of that. I'm not the best poker player so if I can get laughs that's +EV enough for me.

I don't know about you people, but I am exhausted from watching Trooper's latest vlog.

https://youtu.be/En19YeoauU4

Question: I'm not sure if he ever gets kicked out?

I'm thinking he left under his own volition ?

I just tried to watch the latest video, its way too long, couldn't do it.

It sucks that they now hide all dislike counts on all videos past and present. Say I am looking for a good video on a subject like poker, stock market ,etc. If I see 1000 likes and only 20 dislikes, I know its good content, if its 1000 likes and 500 dislikes, I will pass. This is BS with only the likes.

That must have changed very recently. I'm pretty sure I saw dislike counts last week. They are definitely useful. For instance after soccer games people often post a video saying they have the goals for a particular game but they are not in the video so you can immediately tell by the number of dislikes. This is very annoying!

Spoiler:

2021: +4,828

Trooper has said that he hates everyone he plays with, he thinks of poker as war and wants to kill people, says that hes out here trying to break bitches, at 1-2, lol. Also hits em with the role reversal and now hes trying to be accomadating to his new friends the recreational gamblers! What is the definition of cognitive dissonance again? What EVER helps hisl narrative to not realize hes a loser. If only our country wasnt full of such snowflakes that get offended by everything, like even a drunk guy at a poker table being a fool. Literally couldnt imagine being such a pussy and so mentally soft. Why hell never make it as a poker player, not that hes really trying anymore, but a main reason why he never made it

Rampage Poker mentioned in a recent vlog he was 0 for 17 at the WSOP Rio.

The way he gets behind on his vlogs, he'll be showing these next spring.

He does really need to skip a period of time in his backlog to get his vlogs out faster. Especially if he starts playing more tournaments / live streams and everyone who follows him knows his results and is waiting for the vlog. Just a bit ridiculous when you know he's binked a tournament or punted off $50k and need to wait months for the vlog. When playing non streamed cash game then it could be from yesterday or last year and doesn't particularly matter

x1.25 playback speed is you're friend. x1.5 is a little too much and the words sometimes get jumbled, but you can hear everything fine at x1.25. yeah. I just noticed there is no dislike count too. What is up with that? What is the point of even having that dislike button now?

On a separate point that booster board he rides seems pretty dangerous. To him when he rides it on the road with no helmet and dark clothing and to him and others when he is on the sidewalk. Tbf he actually seems pretty competent at riding it but only needs to go badly wrong once and might not even be his fault when it does. Just seems like an accident waiting to happen
A bunch of people told him to wear a helmet a while back. Several even said he should sell Go Gamble helmets. He just doesn’t want to.

I’m not that surprised the MGM kicked him out. The floor said not to talk about it anymore. Then Trooper wins a huge pot off the guy, and mouths off criticizing both him and the floor. It’s not much different than the mods on any forum telling posters to stop; and if someone tries to be a smartass and criticize the mods, don’t be surprised to get banned. When the floor or the mods say that’s enough, and you keep going anyway then you risk getting kicked out or banned. Even though in this case Trooper probably should have been allowed to stay with the other guy getting kicked out.

Also sounds like the dealer probably sided against Trooper because the other guy tipped big. And from the dealers perspective, maybe he wasn’t at the table long enough to see how bad the other guy was.

Even assuming his story was true, Trooper made a couple of comments that were out of line. On the other hand, if that guy was as bad as he says then I can see why Trooper would get upset with him and tell him off because the guy would deserve it. The other players at the table were probably rooting him on, but why wouldn’t they complain when Trooper got kicked out instead of seat 1?

I wish we could hear the story from someone else because people often try to make themselves look good in situations like this. It sounds like Trooper was owning this guy at the table so maybe he shouldn’t have said anything after winning that big pot.

Probably no one else noticed because they were too busy enjoying themselves. My OCD mind of course picks up these things...lol.

Nice to hear you on Crush LivePoker - that should help gain you well deserved subs.

One thing you have to comment on is the cast of characters at the table. Now that they know about the vlog they're a great source of enjoyment in and of themselves. You definitely struck comedy gold with them. How soon did it take for them to figure out about the vlog? Has anyone given you flack for it? Are you at all worried that you might piss off the wrong guy?

Is getting "kicked out of" an MGM poker room equivalent to getting 86'd from all MGM property poker rooms ?

I said it in my comment earlier today, plus in the dedicated Slow Poker thread, but the other players are fast becoming an integral part of the vlog and great source for (un)intentional comedy. Them now knowing he's a vlogger makes it even better. His vlog truly is the gift that keeps on giving.

I’m in no way a Trooper fan but I’ve played w him on numerous occasions and I’ve never once seen him verbally engage another player unless he’s responding. From my experience I find his story mostly believable, and I’m on his side; it only takes one d-bag to ruin an otherwise great game.

Sounds like he was just asked to leave the poker room for the night. He would have been able to play the machines, or in the pit, or eat, etc.

And he didn’t say he was unable to come back a day later. Didn’t say anything about being read the trespass act or acting like that. Banning him would be really dumb.

Trooper going into lockdown mode with his profits on the year. I predict a ton of double digit results plus or minus the rest of the year.

But I can't imagine playing as much as he has and only being up less than $5000.
