At the end of the day, Marle is way closer to being the trooper than being Brad or Andrew at poker, and you have to remember that with her. By her own admission in the DGAF podcast, she was never a poker pro, she was a waitress who spent her 5k savings playing 2-5 at various casinos around las vegas.

Shes the same as trooper except as a hot girl basically, and probably slightly better than him to really be fair to her, but not by alot.

I didn’t think it was funny either, but fans in her comment section left enough praise and encouragement that she probably thinks it was hilarious. She got 357 likes and only 29 dislikes.

I think these fans are basing their opinion on her being easy on the eye rather than the quality of the comedy skit!

Trooper has some of the worst content in the "Las Vegas lifestyle" space but he's still a 1st ballot poker vlog hof inductee.

I want to say I have never before thought much of any Marle content I viewed, but this was pretty damn good , and funny in a Sarah Silvermanesque way.... way better than what I recall seeing from her before.

He really doesn't seem to enjoy it at all. The one time I recall him ever laughing or looking happy was not poker-driven. He really seems to enjoy interaction with fans, so that seems something of a respite from the hellacious grind his poker play seems to be for him. I suspect he's more personable out of vlog character.

Because of the genius level humor and its deep philosophical, ethical, moral and psychological underpinnings I nominate this particular Marle vlog the best poker vlog of the last 3 years.

lol, I wouldn't go overboard, but it was an unexpectedly funny, short, and uncharacteristically succinct bit ....especially from her, that's all.

Do people really go out of their way to dislike a video on YouTube? I don't like a lot of Trooper's videos (some were good though over the years) for various reasons but I wouldn't hit the dislike button. I don't think I've ever hit the dislike button on a YouTube video.

So I wouldn't take the fact that she only has 29 dislikes as a sign that people really liked that video for it's comedy appeal.

I'm sure that whenever Trooper features his girlfriend in his video, it gets more likes. If he puts her in the thumbnail it probably gets more views and likes and she's not even young and hot. Although it seems like Trooper's demographic is an over 35 crowd so she's probably more appealing to that demographic.

Yeah no need to leave a dislike on youtube to a genuine content creator. It's a bit over the top unless you really hate them

I do dislike some soccer videos which are posted pretending to show the highlights and goals of a match but actually have a recording of a video game or still images of the game. That is annoying af and very disingenuous from the people that post them

Trooper is the MySpace of poker YouTube vlogging. When he was the only product out there with limited competition it had value because the bar was so low but once Neeme and then everyone else came along, he didn't evolve at all to bring up the quality of his product and people moved on.

Since he has no opportunity cost to making his vlogs (he's got nothing better going on in life), he's still around and can actually still make changes and get back into the game. He can literally look at the other successful vlogs and copy what they are doing and introduce it into his vlog and get back into the picture.

Blockbuster crashed and burned but they are remembered. MySpace disappeared but they are remembered. There are plenty of companies and entities that are remembered for being left in the dust by competitors and Trooper seems to fall into that category.

This is all very true and a lot of what you say is pretty funny but you should probably just leave him to it and ignore him rather than keep thinking and writing so much about him!

I thought it was funny in the juxtaposition of the "vaccine" content, the causation implication that it affected her poker play, and the blank left as to her lack of any recollection she had in fact piled up winnings. It concludes that the vaccine somehow made her into a nit, although she doesn't actually remember how, that generated the pile of cash on her floor.

She is overwhelmed by the result and collapses.

Her attribution of her new, yet mysterious successful accumulation of cash to the vaccine is the basis of the joke.

I thought that was a nice tie-in of "vaccine-positive" nonsense, with a poker content theme.

the way the algo works, videos gain traction even with downvotes - idea being that if it elicits that sort of extreme response then it must be something people would be interested in (99.99% of youtube is hidden by the algo because it's just souless garbage whereas this marle video has an actual premise, even if it's one we didn't like)

learning she was never a pro but a waitress turned influencer explains a ton and actually gives a whole new level of respect to her because now she's no longer a low stakes grinder who rose up to prominence due to happenstance and with some help from being a pretty face but rather a pretty face who decided to enter the very competitive vlog space and just crush it to the point where most people like me assumed she was a professional player

looks like most guys here on 2+2 have a low bar, most anything with a pulse and under 300# is considered hot.

I do like Ashley Sleeth's new vlog and helloitslynne is definitely hot, but my bar isn't that high either.

nor do i think mentioning she's pretty demands multiple posts saying "omg so not hot you simp" - feels like this is more of a personal issue you guys are struggling with than any objective discussion - which would be kind of weird if this thread suddenly became a list of rating all female bloggers by looks and all men by content

but having said that, you may not be into her and that's fine but it's pretty disingenuous to say she's an average looking person, that doesn't mean much, i'm not saying she'd stop traffic or I'd even hit on her if we crossed paths, but you look pretty silly comparing her to this
