In my limited viewing I liked Lynne more when she didn't give commentary in a bikini top. I've only noticed it recently, so maybe I simply missed it before.

Feel free to take my man card (if I had one).

As far as selling GoGamble brand. It is not worth the standard sales formula to someone else, as it requires Trooper to pump out a vlog everyday and show up at Westgate every week, etc.
He has said i believe that Westgate was either the majority of his income or just a very large percentage if he didnt say it was the majority. I think it is the majority.

I think hes making 30-40k a year not including poker, id guess closer to 30, which again he hasnt won since 2017, although he is very close to break even, hes never once been "up" money since april 2017. He doesnt have anything nice, and doesnt live an expensive life, he eats taco bell for god sakes. Maybe hes making 85k a year when he starts going to carbone or jean georges every week instead of the same old fast food crap places he goes every day.

He also basically said that much when hes talked about how his bankroll hasnt grown because of the covid shut down making his game at the westgate not run, so its gotta be the majority of his income. If he was still making 70kish a year and westgate was 10k of it and didnt run, who would even really care.

He should have claimed unemployment which was apparently very easy to get in nevada, i have a friend who is basically always going from saving up money to "play poker for a living" by living off his savings until broke over and over again, who claimed as a professional poker player and got 20k or something when hes never won 20k playing poker in his entire life. And he actively doesnt pay taxes somehow so it wasnt a hard thing to do in nevada.

Nah, Westgate is just one small revenue stream in the multi-million dollar Trooper business empire.

When pigs fly. 1K views on YT is worth between $3 and $5 typically, and he's getting about 10K views a video. So each video is worth between $30 and $50. If he made 300 video a year that's $9K to $15K.

He's jumping up in stakes way too quickly. Poker isn't so easy, it takes time.

He played too many hands. In a 1/3 or 2/5 these mistakes don't cost you as much but mistakes compound as you move up. He might consider dropping down and rebuilding.

Compare his play to Lynn's high stakes vlog where everyone was showing up with monsters nearly every hand they played. Not saying this is how poker should be played, but . . . when you're getting in there pre with QTs and QJs on the regular while your opponents are raising with tighter ranges, your equity deficit is gonna add up.

Trooper has 7 years worth of Vlogs on YouTube.

You are only counting one year's worth of Trooper's Vlogs.

Surely the other 6 years of Trooper's Vlogs generate >$20K/year worth of revenue for the Trooper ?

That seems plausible. IF they gave him a 50/50 rake split (which would be very generous) he might be getting $70 per table per hour or something. That could add up to a lot more than his youtube if there's a couple tables.

Rampage's name on ClubGG is "rampunts" and he even mentions in his plug for the service that people can login and "catch some punts."

I wonder if him punting is becoming a selling point for his vlogs and if he intentionally plays overly aggressive because if he punts off a stack, he might lose the money but he will gain a good story for the vlog. Seems like an expensive way to increase views but you gotta build up your channel somehow so maybe it could end up being +EV in the long run if he can build up his brand and his social media channels.

Don't forget about all the untracked poker sites that Trooper is surely using as his own personal ATM.

No, I'm counting his total views. Many of his old vlogs have < 10K views. They're not accumulating substantial new views. It's just his subscribers watching the new ones, and even 3/4 of them don't watch.

Since everyone likes counting Trooper's money, I'll say it once more: he inherited his grandmother's stock portfolio. I don't know what it's worth, but I believe it's a big reason why he's able to afford his lifestyle.

Yes, She put 10k into Apple in 1980 for $22/share and then gave it all to her grandson and not her daughters and Sons.

11:02: "I know no one thinks I'm actually good at poker. Don't worry, I don't think I'm that good at poker either." Love the self-deprecating humor + humility. Awesome energy too. Reminds me that some of the others take themselves a little too seriously.

Best vlogger by a mile. Glad I stumbled upon this!

Trooper was still keeping his head above water the past few years despite averaging around -$5k at the tables. lets say he has 2k/month living expenses, 24k per year + -5k from poker means his other income streams bring in at least 30k per year minimum.

But then Lady Trooper carried him for a long time, until he put her in the poor house, now having to work full time and vlog/sell candy on the side.

I criticize Trooper a lot, but for him to generate this much interest in learning the truth behind his personal life, he's doing something right lol.

Do you think people really watch for the punts?
I don't.
I like to hear how other players think thru hands, whether they win or lose is immaterial.
I dont think a punt is anymore exciting to the viewer than just winning.

I might be an outlier, but if given the choice between a punter and a guy who is going to walk me thru their thinking and overall strategy, I'm going with the latter.

The question is: Does Rampage think people watch for the punts? If he does, then it could influence his play and encourage him to play aggro.

Rampage has got himself in a dark place, and is punting up a storm of late.

I hope he recaps his Vegas trip for us. He took some big losses in Vegas during the month of July.

With his mastery of speech play which was laid out in yesterdays vlog, all those GTO bots are but cannon fodder for the wise trooper! surely hes making a tidy little sum from those nerds!

the guy who value-owned him at 4:48 with KJ on K44Q9 almost definitely watches the vlogs. playing really bad spewy poker at higher stakes and vlogging it for your opponents to see is a really bad combination.
