I like to think service jobs have a butterfly effect. (Actually, I think all of our interactions with others have some kind of butterfly effect. It's why I like to make people smile.)
A positive, friendly, chill poker dealer can have a subtle impact on poker players, and then to the people that player interacts with later in the day. Good vibes are transmissible imo.
Similarly, a whiny, pessimistic poker dealer can spread negative vibes. They kind of annoy me, but mostly I just feel sorry for them.
