When Trooper said he wanted something vegetably but was putting his foot down on eating Panda again even though he craved it, I'm sure everyone knew what he would be eating.

El Diesel with the 1000 hour challenge. 1000 hours in 100 days. Pman should do that.

Can someone please explain the bigger dude who is always at Trooper Thursday? I was bored and watched a Kraut video and they seemed like friends. Does he go there to troll or is he friends with Trooper and Kraut? Seems like an good guy though he tanks a long time for a 1/3 game.

Jason or Feather lol. He seems like he's friends with both guys. Yeah it does seem like he's a really good guy. I'd love to know what he thinks about this Trooper/Pokerkraut feud.

If you are serious about going for a career instead of trying the poker dream, I say go for it! You said you used to be a software engineer. Or at least you worked as one somewhere. Well whatever the case is, I do remember watching that in one of your videos, and then wanting to know more about your experience and thoughts on your time working in tech.

I doubt you are very good at software engineering or else I think you would have stuck with it longer. Because as I'm sure you know you can make a hell of a lot more as a software engineer than you'd ever make at poker. (And with the amount you will make there will be plenty of fun money to try and test your poker skills with.) I think G-d would like you to contribute your talents in you building something cool that can help society. Instead of just saying F--- yeaa jeebus, lets get drunk and play some blackjack... ok well now time to play poker and maybe win something. (BTW - Did you ever see the movie 'Holy Roller-The True Story'?) I don't know I guess our view of G-d is different.

Personally I only sort of quasi-believe in some higher-power. But despite all that, Book of Mormon is one of my favorite musicals. Anyways, there are a lot of opportunities in Software and Cybersecurity now as well. Maybe cybersecurity would be a good job if software engineering not for you. There is also a whole thread in NVG about jobs for poker players, you can have a look there too. There's a lot of ex pro poker players who like me now have successful careers. Some probably browse these threads as well and can give you help in starting out in those and many other great career fields. In your cryptic tweet it said you had to audition for your drop, which got me thinking you might be doing a dealer audition.

Whatever you do, please don't go and become a dealer. Use this time to build yourself a career. You will thank past you one day in the future that you didn't waste time chasing the poker dream when you could have been building something greater. Don't make excuses Pman. More people would watch vlogs about you building something big, overcoming your insomnia, achieving something truly AWE-some (and I do mean that word biblically. And then we would watch the vlogs that you go out and try to win a WSOP tournament. Now you're raising money for jeebus! That reminds me of a poker book: Ace on the River by Barry Greinstein ... d*** that is a really good book. You should read it!

I know you aspire to be something great judging from the corny and tacky billionaire mindset retweets you post on your twitter. Godspeed Pman. Have fun in the desert now, just don't get too lost there.
Wow. Thanks alot man. Yeah, I wasn't great with software, I was only a jr dev. I am going to become a dealer for a few reasons; It's not bad money and I can make an impact on other peoples lives. I can get out of my house and have a good time.

When it comes to drinking and being stupid, I'm trying to do less of that. Thank you for the kind words. God is good

Okay at this point it's clear Lynne's vlog is all about driving users with her appearance and personality - doesn't seem to be much of a poker vlog - maybe it will be a mixture but not a lot so far

How does being a poker dealer, as such, "make an impact on other peoples' lives" ?

Someone wins and someone loses. Thus both lives have been impacted.

nothing like potting it when you have absolutely no chance on one board and the 2nd nuts on the bottom board with 2 cards to go and 0 chance of improving!

I like to think service jobs have a butterfly effect. (Actually, I think all of our interactions with others have some kind of butterfly effect. It's why I like to make people smile.)

A positive, friendly, chill poker dealer can have a subtle impact on poker players, and then to the people that player interacts with later in the day. Good vibes are transmissible imo.

Similarly, a whiny, pessimistic poker dealer can spread negative vibes. They kind of annoy me, but mostly I just feel sorry for them.

Being friendly, kind, and understanding. Everything we do impacts other people. It's the attitude we choose to go about doing so that makes the difference.

I bet Trooper just reads this thread and laughs at all the stupidity. I'm fairly certain he's a lot smarter and more capable of a person than he gets credit for.

If so he's does an impressive job hiding it in his videos.

Absolutely. Trooper is crushing life way more than most of us in this thread but then we somehow always find a way to nit pick every little thing he does.

Agreed. Maybe all the nitpickers need to look inward and see what "little things" within themselves are making them project onto Trooper.

This is the first of Rampage's videos that I have watched. Is this guy supposedly a winning poker player? He seems to not understand like the very basics of like poker math/pot odds
