The worst poker mistake he made in that session was shoving with a hand that only gets called by better, not the revealing his cards afterwards. He claims he shoved because the player was "splashing around" on previous hands. In other words, Trooper is still playing like it's 2006, where a few advertised loose plays gets bad players like Trooper to shove all their money into the pot drawing nearly dead.

Plus shipping right? Insane.

20oz Starbucks Pikes Place whole bean for $12 is fine for me.

Why don't people just donate to his patreon if they want to throw money at him as a thank you for his videos?

Buying some random coffee at 100%+ markup makes no sense at all if you want to support his channel. Just cut out the stupid middleman and send Trooper money directly. More of the money you send will go to him and some random company won't be taking a cut.

I get buying a hat or a t-shirt because you can wear it as a conversation starter but who the heck needs random coffee in the house at 2X the price of good coffee?

It's like that episode of Apprentice when they were selling Trump water. The water doesn't taste different. It's a random bottle of water with a custom label. In fact, it's probably worse than a water company's branded water at the same price. (Sorry, not trying to be political. I would say the same point if it was Kardashian water or some other random celebrity trying to rip off their fans.)

I was curious and it's $5 for standard shipping.

And there is a tip option to: "Show your support for the team at Go Gamble Shop"...LOL!

Even if I tried it and it was really good, I wouldn't pay that price with shipping unless it was Soup Nazi good.

He never wanted to promote his Patreon. But then he seemed really excited to promote his caps, shirts, etc. Probably an ego thing. People would give him money directly, and a lot of times it was because they looked down on him and felt sorry for him because he was struggling.

When he started making money off of selling stuff, he could convince himself that people were buying his stuff because they were fans that admire him instead of looking down on him, and his clothing gives his fans a chance to promote his vlog. In other words, he gets to feel and act like a Youtube star when he sells stuff.

And he gets to feel that he is providing something of value to people and making money off it instead of feeling like a beggar that receives money because people feel sorry for him. He is the boss. He is too good to be receiving money because people feel sorry for him.

People don’t go up to the other vloggers and hand money directly to them nearly as often. Did Neeme and Brad ever need a $20 bill as much as Trooper?

I have to say Starbucks have impressively good coffee. Pretty much all their different tastes are great, but house blend and Colombia blend is my fav ones. Christmas holiday limited edition was also great.

Also LOL at buying grounded coffee for $14 pr bag. That is just absurd, and beyond what you will pay at many high end coffee shops.

People will be happy to pay extra to support him and the vlog. His $15 mask already sold out, and it’s not like that thing is amazing. With the cap I get it, but the mask? Meh. Curious how many of those masks he sold.

Fair enough i guess, if you want to support the vlog in other ways than dumping him money on Patreon or something.

You couldn't be more wrong. There's a huge wave of Hollywood out of work actors and comedians who have taken to Patreon... "Shaking the cup" for their fans.

As soon as one of those creeps gets a Me Too allegation and lose their careers, they go right to SM, Patreon, Onlyfans to get money out of their most obsessed fans.

Take comedian Bryan Callen for instance... The rape allegations and covid pretty much ruined his acting/comedy career. Things are looking up though, he's making over $35,000/month on Patreon from his 6500 or so supporters there.

Steve hit the nail on the head with his post.

He does a podcast with his fiance and from listening to that a few times it seems like he is just doing some investing/trading (believe that is what she does for a job) and not playing much due to COVID.
