No Trooper hate at all. We were sitting here being respectful for the longest time I might add. I don't know if you were a follower of other thread. It's obvious Trooper is a fan of the drama and schtick. He's banging on the glass when you come out with a vlog like that. I enjoyed it. Dude is hilarious.

I don't know if anyone has interview of old Limon video but at one point Trooper stated "let the trolls stay on the stream". I've heard other vloggers say that trolls are part of the game.

Flatting a 3bet with KK and inviting a player behind you to call is a troll, right? He didn't really play KK that way.

WOW If I were doing nominations for poker vlogger of the year and I didn't include Jaman Burton, Brad Owen, Boski, or Trooper (if for nothing else because he practically created the genre) - I would be so embarrassed I wouldn't be able to show my face in public. I think I would be claiming black out drunk when the list was created or checking myself into rehab.

The only reasonable explanation to come up with their nominations was they threw darts at a list of names and the list was faulty to begin with. A room full of monkeys could have done a better job.

Simply Embarrassing is the only word that comes to mind.

he's a confrontational POS who thinks everyone in the entire world is out to get him. There's really no other way to react to him.

I don't agree with the nominations either. They should rename the categories. But GPI/Pokerstars is a business and they are doing what's good for their business - promoting women in poker with Marle (or maybe she just has friends in high places) and nominating the most famous people who have the most subscribers on YouTube. Everything is about numbers of followers these days.

Anyone who thinks Trooper could or should ever be nominated for an award by a major player like GPI/Stars after his alleged cheating scandals is fooling themselves. I wish him all the best and continued success at what he does but his name in the poker world is tainted and in poker reputation is everything.

Actually I would be surprised if he 4-bet there. Seems like he always plays KK that way.

He always slow plays his big hands and "no one runs worse than him". The 2 are just a coincidence though

That hand didn't make sense though why would the BB 3bet pre then check shove the flop. I don't think the hand went down the way he described it

Just saw the video regarding KK vs AA. He kept mentioning the Poker award as “tpi”, “gcpi” and that he doesn’t know who’s giving it out only to later admit that he does know that it’s the “gpi”. A little salty, eh? It’s like pretending you dont know the name of the girl who just turned you down for a date.

And he kept saying “I don’t care” “I don’t care” “it doesn’t matter”. I see a trend on the Internet in general where people go out of their way to say they don’t care. It’s like a brag for them because to them the topic that they discuss is so below them. Just a defensive mechanism.

Talking about something you don’t care about likely means one of two things:
A) he actually DOES care
B) he has nothing else to talk about so he’s filling time with garbage

He could skip reading a lot of the negative if he didn't spend so much time scrubbing his Youtube comments. In person, people have always seemed to treat him pretty good around town. The "local haters" are usually heads down into a tablet, or too introverted to say anything at the table that would spark conflict.

I was amused by his latest meltdown. I wonder what his definition of "lasting" means. If it means living month to month having to beg for gift cards well I tip my hat. It it means the westgate hosting nitty regs with inane nicknames every Thursday because it's begging for players and wiling to give Tim a piece of the action again I tip my hat. The goading at the end is classic. As if people that are of a much higher level of poker will go into that embarassment of a poker room and waste their time with his coffee money. Tell you what Tim go sit in the big games at the Bellagio and put your money in play. Oh yea you tried that and lasted one night.

Again it goes to self awareness. This is the new youtuber world. It is great till of course you have to go to the doctor or get medication. The truth is undefeated though.

A McDonalds hamburger will “last” for 5 years untouched if you just leave it out. Doesn’t mean it’s any good after that.

Tim May have lasted 5 years, but he’s the McD’s hamburger of the poker world. He might still be there 5 years from now, but that’s a existence, not a life.

And if you’re happy being a crappy stale hamburger, that’s great. But any notion that Tim is going to be some sort of crusher someday is, well, pretty funny.

I admit I watch Timmy da twooper's vlogs.

The undefeated truth will go down as 1 of his classic denials. why the peabrained hillbilly mind can't differentiate truth from opinion is not a shock. I hope he lasts forever in the desert...like a cockroach. I admire his entrepreneurship and I guess it's OK to fleece the lonely types out of $28 for twucker caps and Starbucks gift cards but it's not for me. I'd rather have a career. Credit for him living in a nice complex and getting a new ride but his fellow vloggers are driving Teslas not Kias or Hyundais.

Bottom line is he'd be more likable if he'd admit how bad trolls bother him and took the high road of reality more often. At least the rants are good for a minor chuckle every now and then.

If Troop actually said he’d play HU4ROLZ can someone let him know that the guy from the WSOP single table satties in the “No Gamble” hat would be interested? He thinks he’s better than me, and we always had big side bets during the satties because of it. I would also be down to have said HU4ROLZ match live-streamed for the viewing enjoyment of all those in this thread. Does anyone have any clue what his roll is? Anything less than 5000 definitely isn’t worth my time and flying to town.

Knowing how he reacts to booking ~$500/session losses, it can't be much.

Scary thing is I think that's his life roll too. He's gotta be treading water. There used to be a thread tracking his win/loss reports.

If I had to guess a good month for him is...

+200 from youtube
+50 from his clothing empire
+100 in starbucks giftcards from viewers
+1,000 at the tables
+34,000 colluding at single table SNG's during WSOP w/ Harry

jokes. maybe.

If I met Tim my advice would be to take Poker a bit more seriously and grind out a rainy day fund, stop doing the vlog, and focus on earning enough to live and not just be another drone. Maybe that's what he wants though? idk.

Edit: There's this video from almost 3 years ago that kinda points to what I'm saying: https://youtu.be/4Pz7LWXdRz0?t=533

TL;DW: He started Day 1 of 2016 WSOP -600, then had a two minute rant talking about how he's under rolled and has been since he moved to Vegas, that he can't play poker the way it needs to be played because the money matters and the pots matter, and that he's effectively broke booking a -600 session.

I took it to mean "heads up for bankrolls". I would be interested in watching a stream of that. I would even contribute to challenger if he donated his winnings to charity. Can we get a Gofund set up? Of course, Trooper would have to agree. We would also have to find a dealer that would agree. I do think it should be 5k with a 25/50 or 50/100 NL so it does not drag on for days. Short and sweet stacking.
