I was wondering when you would port that avatar over from NLAP

I agree, as Trooper proved to is by his horrible "game changing" idea, watching low stakes live is the nut low.

My I brought up 2p2 while playing those sattys at the WSOP with Troop he wouldn’t even acknowledge that he knew what 2P2 was. He’s an interesting guy. But he’s found a way to make a good living far easier than many of the rest of us. Selling coffee, hats, and shirts and playing a weekly Trooper Thursday, that life doesn’t sound so bad for what he’s getting paid. As long as he breaks even in the cash games he plays he’s doing a lot better than he lets on

It isn't a bad life ... but he's not going to be able to survive off of that forever. His vlog viewership is way down. Since his fans drive sales of all of his merch, he'll have to find ways to engage some new ones before hat sales and Go Gangrene blend sales dry up.

I forgot exactly what he was getting paid for Tropper Thursday, but I remember thinking he was insane for not putting more of his time into recruiting for that, since he was getting paid per table. The amount he was getting from that was solid in itself

Actually the more i look at the photo the more it looks like trooper. Down to the round face. Kind of like Charlie Brown.

Did Trooper ever end up losing the weight he was trying to lose last summer?

He temporarily dropped about 9 lbs while on his 3 week keto binge.

Fear not, he put those pounds back on rather quickly with his special Pizza, Burger, Teriyaki Madness, Earl of Sandwich diet.

The audience for a well-produced poker vlog is pretty small. But the audience to just watch one of these vloggers play a random session live is much, much, smaller.
The best was he did a countdown for a week beforehand in his usual way about how this was going to CHANGE... THE... GAME. THE KING IS BACK.

Not that I know of, but meeting him in person he wasn't nearly as big as I thought he would be. Actually more average for a man his age if anything. However his face is still very round and the camera does put on a few pounds.

I finally unsubscribed to Troopers videos. It took me a while but I haven’t been watching them. They seem to be a repeat of the day before and boring. There were too many videos cluttering up my subscription feed. It reminds me of unfollowing someone on Facebook that is constantly posting and sharing things your just not interested in.

I'm guessing he was in San Jose. Never been to San Jose myself, but I have been to the inner jungles to do some hiking and the Pacific beach. The Costa Rica I saw was not a crap hole, but it wasnt the French Riviera either. Generally speaking, it kind of reminded me of rural Florida, except with some hills and mountains. Some touristy stuff, but you can easily get off the beaten path as well. Good place to go for a cheap vacation or to live on a low budget, at least when I was there.

Agreed. Having played 1000+ hours of low stakes hours since moving to Vegas this year, I can count on two hands or maybe even one hand the interesting or fun people I've been come in contact with that I would actually want to play poker with again. I won't even go into the drudgery of the other side of the coin as I'm sure I would just come off as a whiny *****.

I watched that section of video and saw none of what you are describing. I saw a woman approach him, ask him if he was a youtuber, they chatted for a brief moment, he was friendly, and they parted ways. I didnt see Trooper blowing anyone off. People probably approach him multiple times a day and he happened to catch this one on camera. I picked up no vibe from that 10 second exchange where she was "interested in him". Not sure where all of this is coming from.

I mean he didn’t blow her off in the sense that he was rude or anything.

I did get this vibe in her mannerisms that she did seem potentially interested. Maybe she’s just a little shy, maybe it’s nothing but worth exploring. I think most non committed guys in that situation would want to explore it a little more. If I was him would asked her to hit up Starbucks with him.

Maybe it's just me, but I dont automatically think just because a woman talks to me that she is "interested" in me and that I should ask her to meet me at Starbucks. Sure, she went out of her way to approach Trooper. Which leads me to believe she is the opposite of being shy. A shy person doesnt approach people they dont know. Maybe he wasnt attracted to her. While she may be a nice person and people may find her attractive, and I'm not saying this to be mean, but I personally wouldnt have been interested in her. Does that mean I would be blowing her off? No, it means I had a short interaction with a person and I didnt want to take it any further.

Never had a woman approach me so I can't say, but I do know the ladies love Trooper so I'm sure she was pretty damn interested in him. I don't think it's that he wasn't interested though. He just gets so many ladies hitting on him that it's better to just give them the channel name and take it from there.

She wasn’t my type either, but she was way out of his league and he acted like a guy was talking to him. If I didn’t know who he was I might think he preferred men.

Sure if you’re younger and better looking women can appproach you like that, but when you’re 45 and not the most attractive guy then it’s probably always hookers approaching in that situation.

I doubt she thought he was hot but she definitely treated him like he was interesting. He was getting extra credit for being a vlogger.
