Podcasts with just voices are super boring though so don't waste your time with that.

27 FTW! Take this seriously Jeff a twitch/you tube podcast or live stream could be your middle ground

If I recall that was a different Tim Watts, and one who is married since his wife was also listed in the judgement.

Love to see the trooper refer to himself in the third person.

Troop and Boski should play in a tag team tournament as partners. Now there's a vlog episode worth watching.

I had asked who do you think is in worse off financial shape. The assumption is Boski is doing pretty bad if he wants to quit poker and vlogging. He also gave up on the bankroll challenge in his vlog and has been running like ass in tournaments.

So Jeff, since you clearly aren’t addressing it in any vlogs, and you clearly read this forum, why did you quit the $10k challenge?

I think Boski is definitely in bad shape given his run this summer and him asking for help with jobs. I really enjoy his content when it comes to hand analysis and his dry humor. I think he could Segway into something else that would be much more profitable than playing tourneys full time. Was that meal with the $55/ounce steak a date paid for by a viewer? if it wasn't, he is living better than I am.

Troop is where he is in life. I don't think he could grow a whole lot more given the his past history. If he miraculously woke up one day with a different mind set, the guy could really crush life.

I honestly wish the best for both of these guys because they are putting more time and effort into poker and vlogging than I ever could and I respect that. I hope they both find a way to max value out of the hand they have been dealt.

Boski has nearly 800k in live cashes and over $1 million in verifiable online ROI since 2008.

I think some of you are putting too much into the face value of what he says in his vlogs

Looks like Trooper plays his A game or closer to it more often when he plays 2-5. It will be interesting to see how he does. Seems really dangerous for him to play those stakes with his tilt issues though.

That's because he respects the regs at 2-5. He doesn't go into these games talking about "owning souls" "winning people's rent money" and "idiot/terrible players" at the table like he does before these 1-2 sessions. More caution, more logical thinking, he should do better but time will tell.

Boski probably still has a nice roll from crypto but probably feels the pinch from its massive drop since January.

I was just reading an old Bluff Magazine from 2010 or 2011 and ICuRaRook was the 5th ranked online player that month.

I guess back then, Boski was really grinding the online tournaments BIG time..

Starting Feb '18, he has cashed $38K live.

But, we don't know how much of that he kept (he has backers and swaps).
We don't know how much were all his buy ins, or how much he spent (he has backers) himself.
We don't know how much he made/lost off of backing others and or swaps.

I take most of Boski's "i'm quitting and looking for a job" the same as how everyone is all "i'm never drinking again" when they have a hangover.

Tournament poker has to be about the most difficult way to make a living ever. Online you can get volume to smooth out the variance but live what can you play like 10 tournaments a week?

I'm a Boski fan but it seems like he has unrealistic expectations. He thinks he can go from poker player to the food network just because he rates food 7 out of ten?

I think his pokertube interviews with porn chicks is a better fit for him if he wants to transition away from poker content.

What about giving bowling lessons on the side? I would imagine getting into the food arena is pretty difficult these days as it's pretty saturated. I personally think Boski is a better video producer than a host/interviewer. He just needs to find a niche that will get him tons of views.

So, you're claiming that timfbmx is actually the trooper? Sounds like wild, unsubstantiated speculation to me. I guess we'll find out soon whether 27offsuit agrees.

You might have a point there. The chatter about Boski sure has picked up since he stated he's tired of tournament poker. Which might have been his goal with his latest video.

How can anyone have a nice roll from crypto? The whole market has crashed. Doug Polk has a "Doug Polk Crypto" youtube channel where he used to shill that stuff and ever since it crashed he stopped making videos. I wonder how much he lost.
