The dating pool is so polluted in Vegas that I don't blame Trooper for not prioritizing a relationship. As Ronda Rousey famously once said, "There's a lot of do-nothing bitches out there". The horror stories from many vegas locals on the quality of single women (character, not looks) is enough to put anyone on high guard.
I dont necessarily think it's polluted. I am totally not a guy who likes chicks using a lot of makeup or any at all...but lets just say it seems most women are not using facial moisturizer. Living in this dry, sunny climate really takes it's toll if you arent paying attention. And for the record, I myself as a new resident have started using a combo face moisturizer/spf sunblock when I know when I'll be out in the sun for longer than 10 minutes. Because I for damn sure dont want 10 years added on to my age when it's easily preventable.....
Negreanu's vlog also showed him doing an interview with a female massage therapist. He openly admitted to saying unkind things and "things I shouldn't have said " about his ex. For a guy that's into choice center and positive woo woo stuff, the guy loves putting out his dirty laundry publicly.
He seems like a nice guy but also kind of full of **** too.
What does the forum think of Negreanu?
Any constructive criticism that would be given to Negeanu would be thrown back into your face by him saying "look at my life then look at yours" as if that would be a logical reply. That's the type of guy he is.
But to answer your question, some people love dnegs, some people hate him. It is pretty easy from just watching his videos to see what his flaws and weaknesses are. I would say his #1 weakness is his insecurity.
Venetian is FORCED to add $33,720 to the prize pool!
Vlog's keep getting better....liked the equity percentage rundowns vs various hands within opposing players ranges. That is something I personally don't do and I think everyone's game would benefit from doing that.
I am personally convinced AK hand's are from the devil. I generally do not play them well and am convinced that I generally overplay the hand. So when in tough spots I definitely have started to reign in the aggression with that hand, situational dependent of course.
Also today while playing at the Rio I heard something from a dealer I could hardly believe......that Sheldon was trying to make a run at WSOP this year and he failed miserably. Which in my book is a win.
I thought we could discuss any poker vlogger here? Didn't get the memo.
It's official to me. Boski has captured #1 market share for me. It took him a year but he's the most dedicated and the best one to me.
I put Jaman and Johnny Vibes right behind him for 2 and 3.
What's the name/band of that song that Trooper played today which motivated him to go across America? Anyone know?
I agree. We know these vlogs cant be really long, but in the time given Boski quickly and concisely explains his thought process, which is probably most what I take from his vlogs. And he isnt afraid to show both his successes and failures.
Man tournaments are brutal. I'm not convinced a long run exists in lol live donkaments.
Boski, man, just learn cash. You're obviously smart enough.
Yeah, in live tournaments is extremely hard to get in enough volume/games to get close to realize your true EV over time. The variance is just too sick and you dont get in enough games in the slow live environment.
Boski could easily be a cashcrusher with a little tuning to his game, and curbing his relentless aggression to more accurate fewer spots.
If he wanted to though, i am sure he would have gone down that path already if he truly wanted to do that.

^^^ I've been agreeing with this for a while now.
Choose your hours, choose your tables, get up from game when you want, and get paid most days. MTT pools are still generally more fishy than live game pools... but all in all it's a better gig.

He should do both. Have the best if both worlds and what not.
Boski must have alligator blood or tons of back up money. The beats he has taken lately have been brutal. All for a couple of thousand bucks or so. He poker a lot, I guess. I couldn't do it.
Boski and Burton are the best vloggers. Troop and PK stock has fallen for me. Their silly antics wear thin after a while. And Neeeme seems like a nice guy but way too milquetoast for my tastes.
I remember awhile back someone posted in that Bokski won all this money before he did the quit vlogging video and was asking about jobs. I knew it was bs but didn’t have time to do the math. I hate that he isn’t doing to bankroll challenge anymore because we won’t be able to see that he is break even at best. Not because of anything other then how hard it is to make money in tournaments. I would say it’s almost impossible, which is the same I feel about 1/2. There are a very very very small few that will but you would have to be insanely talented.
With two small kids, the nearest poker room 1.5 hours away, and online poker the absolute nut low, Ive decided to hit a tournament or 3 up every year/get a few cash game sessions a year, and play 25NLHE/PLO just enough to stay sorta sharp.
For that kind of minimal volume, I don’t think it gets better than chasing a tournament score.
