How is he any of the traits you describe? I'm not challenging you; just trying to understand how you know given the very little actual poker content in his vlogs

There are always Douche-bags wishing other will do bad or fail. Then there are good decent people that will always hope someone does better for themselves.

Now you just have to know which type of person you are.

I hope The Trooper finds what he is searching for, he is not a bad guy but he is a acquired taste.

Just got around to watching Pokerkraut's video from about a week ago wherein he states that people who don't like his or other Youtubers' videos, but keep coming back to watch more anyway, are all idiots. "Only idiots come back every single time for something they don't like." He also calls the thumbs down button the idiot button, and adds that if you push that button, it says you're an idiot. He says that it is analogous to going back everyday to eat at a restaurant and then telling them how bad the food is.

Interestingly, there's not one comment in this thread about his rant. I have no doubt whatsoever that if Trooper had said anything even mildly similar to that, this thread would have blown up and there would be pages and pages of comments from the usual malcontents condemning such a view.

And speaking of Trooper, Pokerkraut is no doubt referring to him (as well as several posters in this thread) when he closes his rant with the following quote:

"It's not only me; I don't have that many haters. But I know some other Youtubers; they have so many dislikes on the video every single time. Why do you go back and push that idiot button? It doesn't make any sense. It just says to your character, you are a total idiot."

I must say that I agree with pretty much everything he says.

Kind of surprised, I wouldn't have thought PK was the type of person to care much about those types of things. To be fair, if memory serves Trooper has made similar rants many times in the past.

Because his rant was in more jokingly manner, light hearted. At least that's how I felt it, because he's always in good moods.

Trooper's approach is more like "**** you".

Trooper's rant and language are ruining it for the real Poker Vloggers. That's not how you build relationships and open future opportunities.

Golden Nugget is one room that would be primed to bring in some vlogger hosted games. Hopefully they just laugh him off like the rest of the poker community seems to.

@PK's rant....i didn't like his vlog so i quit watching. Trooper is a really good heel so i watch for the enjoyment of watching a heel.

Boski is a great heel. But for some reason i think i'd like Boski more irl than i would Troop.

What is Troop hiding from. Home by noon.

Do we know who Clubs is, and what they are working on?

They are just playing movie makers. Where they get to say things like, "thats a wrap" and pretend to be director and producer.

I played in the westgate game last month. A buddy I was with wanted to play in the Thursday game. I played 1/2 while the other games were 1/3. Timmy’s table consists of pretty much the same players week in week out (clubs, Prince, PA, Cali bro lady and others.). Needless to say the 2 hrs I was there, the game was comparable to Excalibur/Ballys 1/2 game.

I think it’s fine. Usually the people who freak out about IF are people that think skipping breakfast is really bad, or they freak out if they hear you haven’t eaten in a bunch of hours, thinking that you are going to starve.

I actually agree with Troppers rant on the dealer and room in his latest vlog. As much as I lose respect for the people who dont tip, the dealer shouldn't be treating players differently because of that.

Usually a dealer mentioning the word Tip or something similar, unless responding to a question, would be written up or fired.

Same here. Had not been reading the whiteboards in the videos. Went back and did so in a couple of his latest. Well thought out, subtle humor. A+.

I stopped watching the Trooper about a year ago and poker kraut about 6 months ago.
What really turned my opinion on him was when he backed out of the weight loss challenge he made with kraut. As old gamblers always used to say, the only thing a gambler has is his honor.
I don't know how anyone can defend him after that.
He's unsociable and plain and simple not an endearing personality.
And besides, every day the same thing with no real poker content, borrring! Life is too short.
Why did I stop watching Kraut? Same thing, fun and laughs but no poker content. Waste of time. Besides, I got turned off, or what finally did it for me was when he talked about him being a k9 policeman back in Germany.
His videos, I admit somewhat entertaining, are mostly about him showcasing himself, deep down, he's nothing but a guy who really thinks the world of himself. Besides, he's obviously not even a very good poker player.
Life's too short!

That video make me think 2 things;

1. Trooper is missing a serious trick with his YouTube page. Not arsed going into detail for him to ignore it but his level of talent at editing etc could be better used to benefit his vlog than it currently is

2. Riding that f*cking board in the dark is even more dangerous than I first though. Christ how has he not been killed yet? I can imagine him sending that video to boosted boards and them saying they can't use it because of how dangerous it makes them look
