I'm not sure how you decide to hate a guy for leaving his clothes on the floor when most here probably do the same thing. I don't understand how you hate on a guy for being overweight (again glass houses/stones maybe?) then hate on the guy for going on a diet. Hate on a guy for not going to the gym when most here probably don't, etc.......
It's been explained to me since I don't play full time for a living that I can't understand why the hate is correct and the only true path, maybe someday I'll get in the secret handshake club, but until then you are correct. It shouldn't bother me and it won't going forward.
My posting in this thread started out as a genuine lack of understanding on how so many could hate on a guy who does a lot of what they do and is just trying to live his life the way he wants. I fully admit, I still haven't figured that out. It got compounded with the Boski thing which I see as people just rooting for the bully.
I'm old enough to have figured out that I don't know what I don't know. I accept that hatred of a guy like Tim is the only acceptable answer, I'll just continue to be wrong and leave the haters to their thread.
Be well.
First of all, not every bit of criticism is 'hate'. The world isn't that black and white. I also don't believe that most people on here leave there clothes lying on the floor rather than using drawers, wardrobes, cupboards etc. I don't know a single person irl who just leaves there clothes on the floor instead.
With regards to his wieght and his diet, some are critical of the fact that what started as a poker vlog has now become a rather tedious daily discussion about carbs. He may claim these days it's a lifestyle vlog, although he flips betweeen this and a poker vlog, but given he's trying to create a brand all around gambling it's safe to say these discussions are a turn off for many who started watching his vlogs a while back.
Also, it's rather amusing that you are projecting so much onto people you don't know anything about, claiming they most likely leave clothes lying on the floor, they're likely to be over-weight, most don't go to the gym but you seem rather sensitive to people who are commenting on the above with regards to Trooper when we know all of the above definitely apply to him.
Everyone, or at least almost everyone I'd assume, started out watching his vlogs for entertainment and rooting for him to do well. For some that changed to apathy as time went on, or dislike or even hate. For me personally I just got fed up with the lies, the arrogance, the fact he's hyper sensitive to criticism, the apparent lack of a sense of humour etc. Maybe it's a cultural thing but coming from the UK taking the piss out of friends is almost seen as mandatory. It's given in good humour and taken in good humour. Trooper has had ample opportunity to take things in good humour and fire back but time and again he's shown himself to be very thin skinned and only capable of angry rants. That's not a redeeming feature to have. As others have pointed out there are quite a few vloggers out there, some more popular than Trooper, and they don't get anywhere near the criticism he does. Sometimes you've got to take a step back and ask why that is.
