The Westgate will 1099 him. He has to report something.

Andrew lost a lot more over the weekend (at higher stakes obviously). I watched the end of his video, and he didn’t look happy but Trooper looked a lot worse at the end of his latest video.

Andrew’s mindset is way better than Troopers AINEC.

I don’t know if Trooper ever buys in for more than 100BB, which would make a 550BB loss a bigger crime. Usually the first actual poker scene he shows in his blogs shows a stack of about 100BB, so unless he’s buying in bigger and getting stuck before he turns the camera on...

I’m planning to be in Vegas in the next month and I’ll be in a Trooper game for sure unless he’s broke by then.

It's in his best interest to get an accountant but he won't. Audits are not fun.

Too small for any human interaction but the IRS can generate notices looking for social security taxes that start at dollar one.

It doesn't, but that's how he was referred to. Guy lives in LA actually

There was zero effort by Trooper to get the guy to stay or have a good time, and he even berated the fish and suggested the fish was an idiot because he didn’t take the game seriously enough. And we were playing the super high stakes of 1-3 NL.
TBH I was sorta happy when the fish busted trooper with the 67 hand and hi fived him to keep him fishy and to maybe signal Tim to stop acting like that.

I wasn't attacking you it was more him, as I watch the Vlog again I didn't like the way he referred to him the way he did even with the fact he was seething over donking off all that money to a LAG player.

I should realize how narrow minded and simple this person is. It's just I am Italian and it irked me.

In fairness it sounds like the game was playing a fair bit bigger than a normal 1/2. I've never played with Tim, but from the vlogs it appears he holds on too much, and has a propensity to punt. However, when you get players like that in the game, is it not quite easy to dust off a chunk.

I'm going to collect me some hats/shirts when I get out there this summer. Mainly as a thanks for the work they put in editing the videos. I just about have the patience to stick together a playlist in iTunes

The thing about the Nugget games is that the blinds are always 1-2 but you can be effectively playing 10-20 NL or higher based on stacks and straddles.

No cap buyin + wild action

I agree 100% about the Nugget. Some days it is a 1/2 mostly in the daytime at night time you're getting into a deep 2/5 sometimes 5/10 game, depending on the weekend and who was in town. I played there the last SEMA convention and guys were opening preflop $30-50 regularly, it was a drunk very loose game. My only 1k+ cash game losses in 4 years came in that game where there were multiple 10k stacks and a 2/5 session at WSOP. You got to be rolled to play that 1/2 Nugget game late night. It breeds maniac play. Super fun though.

The 67 hand he describes from the maniac was accurate and it was sick to watch him say all in dark flop and presto flop trips.

Italian built up about 2500$ got felted, left came back a little later with another $1000 in black and blasted it off.

I left at 8am. Good to see that he reports it right.

However his table image is absolute **** as the only way he interacts with anyone is to be negative and does nothing to encourage the fish to be fish.

Grounded 6 year olds behave better than him.
That right there is a major problem with Trooper. He only sees things from his own perspective and doesn't have the ability to take things one step further and consider how others might see the situation.

Everything he does is VERY one dimensional. He's like a basic cartoon character. There's only the Trooper way of doing things and no other options. Even when people slowly explain things to him, he doesn't have the ability to pause and consider new information.

Everything he knows and believes must come directly from his own mind. He doesn't believe or trust outside people can bring value.

It's hard to even explain it in words because it just seems so limiting and delusional to me. It's like he believes that he is alone on an island when he's really living in a community that he refuses to recognize.

Come on dude, calling someone Italian is just a description. When is general information offensive? When I talk HH with my friend, I have to describe players who are unknowns to both of us. This is necessary when the pot is multiway or when the poker room have a few players with the same name. Take “eric” for example. I think there are 5 of them in my local room. So we have to differentiate them by “asian Eric”, “black Eric”, “fat Eric” “old Eric”(fat and old are white).

There are times we have to used code names because we don’t know their names. “Santa”, “Arizona State”, “Einstein”, “Mayweather”, “the hat”, “big head”. It doesn’t mean we’re anti any of these people/things. We used them as a point of reference.

At the end of Trooper's recent Gold Nugget vlog, he's rambling in the car and right after mentioning that he woke up at 9am that day, he simply zones out. I wonder if something clicked in his brain and he saw the last decade of his life flash by. Maybe he had a flashback to another $1/2nl loss in his life. Or maybe he just realized that he lost his last hand of poker ever.

Or maybe all that cholesterol caused his heart to stop for a few seconds.

Whatever that was, I have a feeling we are about to get a big announcement in his vlog about something he has just realized that will be a game changer for the human race.

In the TV thread about Fargo season 2. Most people kept saying "The Indian" when refering to Hanzee. Several people were getting pretty upset over that. lol
