His bills are paid by viewers or his moms

He loses too much to be able to do it

Aren’t Andrew and Brad living in Vegas and playing poker without the 9 to 5 grind? Andrew and Brad are playing 2-5 and 5-10 NL at places like Bellagio and Aria and doing well. Trooper plays 1-2 NL at dumps like Excalibur and really struggles. He isn’t exactly a ladies man either. And Trooper has to put in far more work with his almost daily videos so he does have a job.

Personally I find him frustrating because he isn’t doing much better. If he had gotten help on 2+2 he could be beating 2-5 (or at least finally beating 1-2 or 1-3 for a decent amount) would likely have over 60k subscribers and be selling a lot more hats, shirts, etc. and his Westgate games would be more successful.

Some of the critics ITT have been and still are living in Vegas without a 9-5 grind at a much higher success rate. They've offered help in many aspects of life, in and out of poker, as well as networking suggestions to grow his channel. Success leaves clues.

You do have a point to those over critical about his bankroll. Poker, especially in Vegas, needs those guys who can brush off $900+ at 1/2 as "no big deal". Those types make the games good, where as most rooms during week have the same guys nitting it up, drinking and refusing to tip, while giving the staff attitude. Bottom line, games at the lowest stakes in Vegas are terrible without a guy or two willing to get it in bad and not care about their losses.

If you're dreaming and aspiring to the level of life that he lives with so many examples of people who have attained so much more, that says a lot about yourself.

Did PK get a job because he failed as a pro? I don't know, all I remember is he said himself his bankroll was zero so he got the Uber gig.

As far as the above, I don't think that's entirely accurate.

I dont understand, how could Trooper's losses be real and him still going on?

I mean he is losing amounts daily that would really hurt someone's financial viability if they are making well over $100k+ a year.

May be daily huge losses aren't real?

People actually dream about Trooper’s lifestyle??

It accounts for a part of his fanbase.

It is just so difficult to process that life as something to actually fantasize about.

Trooper does alot of weird things so who knows. I just saw the movie "The Disaster Artist" Trooper is kind of like that guy, a loner and nobody knows where his money came from or his age. Also likes to do things his own way which is different than others that are successful in that industry.

I actually don’t watch his videos and found them kind of boring most of the time when I did try to watch them. But if I remember correctly I thought poker was always more of a hobby for him. I don’t remember him trying to go pro but if I’m wrong I hope someone corrects me on that.

I've heard the pay for uber is awful, like sub minimum wage. Why not get a real part time job for 20 hrs a week or even 40 hrs a week for a short time, build up the roll and then play poker on the side until you can or choose to play poker full time again?

It’s a vlog that shows how a player doesn’t advance up from 1-2. There are plenty of great 2-5 games in Vegas this weekend and I doubt the idea of playing 2-5 even crosses his mind.

To be fair, there are a bunch of 1-2 regulars that have similar issues. But it’s amazing to me that he posted here and had so many supportive fans willing to help him, and never took advantage of that, even though he complained in video after video about losing.
Then apparently he does like to gamble. Go Gamble.

I think Pk is one of the only vlogers that keeps a separate poker bankroll, even Andrew and Brad have said they don't have poker bankrolls, what the have is what they have. From my viewing he was spending his poker bankroll on home improvements and took the lyft job to grind out a bonus they offered and did not want to get another normal job at that time because he was soon taking a extended European vacation. I don't think he ever was going pro, besides the short term lyft work he always has has dealing jobs. After his vacation he was back dealing.

PK was doing a lot of home renovations and started paying for that and living expenses out of his bankroll and bust himself that way. When he got the Uber/Lyft job he used that for life expenses and said he was keeping his new bankroll separate.

It looked like he tried for a while after the Linq dealing job. When that didn't work, he had to work driving until his current dealing job.

Cause on Uber/Lyft you can cash out what you made instantly and spend it right at the casino, instead of waiting every other Friday. Look at how many Uber/Lyft stickers you see parked in lots of the off strip casinos. It's a pretty huge clip.

Seriously? They can get paid daily?

If so I can see how it would be easy to degen that away in Vegas.

Trooper's latest video, did I hear correct, he was losing so much at his game Thursday that he had to borrow money from someone?

He goes to his own game that plays bigger than a normal 1/2nl game and only has $1000 or less on him?

I really enjoy PK, Brad and Andrew the most, though I haven't checked out Jaman yet myself. The three mentioned though have a positive outlook in life and seemingly are nice guys and make the environment around themselves better, not worse. Obviously they can be totally different day to day than they present themselves.

Brad and PK have definitely brought my wife more into poker and made it more "legitimate" to her and less degenerate, which I appreciate because I want to move to the desert someday and out of Idaho. While I would be doing it for the weather and upward career mobility and not to play poker full time, it still helps to see that normal ass people live in Las Vegas and not just a place where ****ty adults go to stew together.

As for Trooper, I will catch a video here or there. More than anything I am just shocked that someone his age has given up (in my opinion) and not attempted to do better for himself. I'm more than glad that he is happy, just shocked that he is happy. It's of course to each his own, but I couldn't imagine living his lifestyle and I'm definitely the loner type myself even. I mean you can get a used goddamn couch for $25 from goodwill.

PK's accent identifies him as German. The fact that he is more articulate in English than Troop means he is educated.

We should take a poll on what people think of Troop's accent.

Trooper has the articulation of a D average 9th grader. He thinks it’s cool when he uses “sh*t” every other word to describe a normal life experience.

This. He says he's happy so fair enough but he could have been doing so much better had he had any drive.

The few vlog he said how much of an entrepreneur he has always been is too funny. He never capitalised on opportunities

About a month back, somebody on here theorized that Trooper could be overstating his losses for tax purposes. However, after he reported his two sessions where he won over $1k, that probably isn't the case. Also, it wouldn't be too hard to confirm his losses at a Trooper Thursday event.
