Think more of puzzlement with the thought process he uses and not foods.

Whether its poker, diet, financial matters, etc...

In this case its all about catering the diet to fit his needs. He isnt stupid enough to think veggies, fruit, grains and exercise arent a necessary element. Its that he searched for a diet thought offers the least resistance and discomfort.

Additionally, Trooper is working with a drop shipper for his hats. The drop shipper is making money off Trooper so if Trooper sells the hats for $8, he is probably losing money on the deal. Trooper might be paying $10 when he buys hats in bulk (25+ units) and $12+ when he buys singles. So why would he sell them for $8?

While he might be able to drive down production costs if he buys 100+ or 250+ units, I'm sure he is afraid and doesn't trust his brand enough to invest so much money upfront. Plus, he might not have the cash to buy 250 hats at $8 without missing rent/bills this month.
I didn't write it but my thought process was that after the trial order he would lower his price for the vendors from $8 to maybe $5-6 or less once he was able to place bigger orders to get the hats cheaper. And after the trial the vendors would increase the retail hat price to their normal price. The low price point was just as a trial to see if people wanted to buy it without price being a factor. But you guys are right.

Trooper could get a hundred hats for one buy-in at poker. Does he even have Etsy, Ebay, and Amazon shops set up? Or is his whole growth strategy just trying to get BK and Jaman to sell hats for him? Like he sold candy in elementary school?

Trooper doesn't only need to eat steak for a low carb diet to work. As long as he cuts out all the carbs (just keep in about 10 to 12g/day which would be a couple tablespoons of cream in his coffee, and a few here and there in salads and light vegetables).

Trooper can eat a lot of choices such as:

Eggs and Omelettes with Cheese, ham and bacon
Tuna salad
Egg salad
Chicken salad
Whitefish salad
Grilled chicken over tossed salad (doesn't like tomatoes anyway but no tomatoes)
Bacon Cheeseburgers eaten plain with no bun (onions and pickles ok, but no catsup -. Mayo and mustard instead, hot sauce ok)
Chopped steak
Steak-em's
Deli counter - rolled up ham, roast beef, turkey breast, and some cheese which is great for snacks

When on the road: Double quarter pounder with cheese with no catsup, eaten without the bun, hot dogs eaten without the bun, and the salads above and even plain beef jerky in small amounts

As long as trooper understands he needs to cut out ALL CARBS for this diet to work, even orange juice, all fruit juices, milk, soda, or anything with sugar. The only things you can drink is water, seltzer water, diet soda, coffee and tea sweetened with splenda but coffee needs to be very dark. Cream has about one gram per tablespoon.

What he will soon learn is after 3 to 5 days being on a no carb diet, the craving for food will diminish and his energy will sky rocket.

I read an article once about a marathon runner who's been on zero carbs for years, and was in the best shape of his life.

Also, low carb diets are great for preventing cancer. Don't fall for all the negative talk about this diet regarding eating too much fat. Fat has recently been proven to be an important part of the diet.

Bikeking and Trooper would have tremendous eating synergy at this point in time. The former going high protein (to go along with his Mike Mentzer weight training) and the latter going for pure carnivore status.

Both should eat together at the local casinos cheap but good buffets. I'm talking Orleans, Palms, Red Rock, Sam's Town. Station Casinos and Boyd poker rooms both give $1.60 per hour comps if you use them at the buffet. Last week we went to the Orleans buffet (newly renovated) and here were the meats:

Osso Bocco

Beef Ribs bbq

Pork Ribs bbq

Roasted Rotisserie Chicken

Mongolian Beef

Grilled Steak

Roast Beef

Prime Rib Roast

Pork Loin

Unlimited coffee

etc.

It was pretty good for the price. I get two buy 1 get 1/half price coupons per month for playing at the Orleans. I get three from Station Casinos. Red Rock buffet is even better than the Orleans. Be careful, the Palms does not honor the buy 1/half price coupons that the other Station casinos take.

Buffet eating is the key for both Trooper and Bikeking. No need to cook, prepare, wash dishes. Eat together for peer pressure and synergy.

That's a pretty good guess. I would put the O/U slightly higher, at around 4 - 4.5 days, for Mr. Neverfollowsthroughwithanything..

You can't get away with eating like that at 45, like you can at 25.

Trooper is in his mid 40's, and if he only eats meat and zero carbs those 'Roids will start to creep up on him.

He is also at risk for gout.

He really should, at the minimum, take a fiber supplement..

I think $25,000 is reasonable.
