Everyone's life circumstances are different. If someone is happier earning less to play poker full time, and is willing to deal with both the pros and cons of that, then who are you to tell them that they shouldn't?

I watched one of Trooper's vlogs - he was schlepping around delivering hats in person. Does he have a website that will collect orders? Or if he's trying to do someone a favor/save them shipping - why not just have them come by the poker room where's he's playing to pick it up? Doesn't seem like a good use of time.

So it could be possible that Trooper has picked up more money on the floors of casinos then he has won at poker.

Agree, but he was complaining that he wasn’t happy with the money he was making playing poker for a living..

Hopefully never in Colorado ... although, I'm assuming Nevada has similar if not stricter laws.

Trooper said he was going to start working out anyway, even if it’s likely he won’t stick to it.

Many of the YouTube poker guys aren’t serious about working out though so it’s not just him. These aren’t fitness vlogs. Andrew said he needed to start working out too and he didn’t seem that into it when he showed himself working out in the past. I think he just did a few sets on machines and that was pretty much it unless he also did cardio (can’t remember if he did). Does Brad even work out at all?

The biggest difference between Trooper and some of these other guys is diet, not exercise.

And age, Trooper is now at least 45? Neeme and owen early to mid 30’s?
Huge difference in metabolic rates etc.

If Trooper actually got down to 20% body fat at his age and habits I would be really impressed

Brad has obviously been watching Jaman.

On a relative basis, Brad is the more disappointing vlogger.

He is a 30 yo CPA making $30,000 a year.

Troop came from nothing and will leave with nothing.

Brad obviously had a lot more invested in his future.

You can tell how successful Troop appears when a hooker has never hit on him in all the time he has been in Vegas.

It is, lot of earning potential AND benefits left in the table. If Brad has a wife or kids to support, that is a big issue and a bit selfish on his part to pursue this route. However, if it is just him and his cat sprinkles more power to him if he can do what he enjoys.

Lol, good point. Even my 550lbs friend gets hit on by slot hookers walking in the casino. Now that you mentioned it, you would think that just randomly that would happen in one of his vlogs all the time he has walked in the casino. They must be able to tell from his appearance that he has no money.

When Trooper walks by slots, the hookers know that he is only there to find money/chips that have been dropped.

I know this is for LV poker vloggers but there is a new vlogger on the scene that lives in Oakland but plays in Reno (self ban from all Cali rooms, should be a good back story). Low stakes tourney and cash will be featured

Very engaging personality, well spoken, lots of energy, great editing, overall super enjoyable

And...it’s a female

Just Christy B is her channel. Two vlogs up so far and worth a watch

Disclaimer- I have no association with this woman whatsoever, just thought it was cool to see a female try the scene before the haters make her want to stop

I'm sitting in a hotel room. No work today and it's raining. Binging Jaman. I like his production style. Thanks for the heads up on him, thread.

She trespassed to use a drone, hard not to like the girl

I am sure regs will nitpick. She is a self professed rec so hope the poker critics give her a break and admire her courage, or at least keep the negativity to a minimum

that's kind of my vibe about her vlog too. Noticed Jaman gave her some encouragement in the comments section.

One thing I'd like to see is what her thoughts are when other women are at the table. there is an assumption that men look at women differently at the tables. curious if there is a desire to be the better woman, or a bondage against the males that occurs.

So you just want clapping seals?
Surely we can discuss pros and cons....

I thought it was a really good start. Good camera from the get go and womans perspective for rec players.
But because us haters just love to hate apparently, she could trim the fat from her videos. Maybe hand histories a bit quicker. Vlogs a touch too long considering the content

You new accounts should def keep talking back and forth between each other about some new vlogger... no way can that be thought of as suspicuous at all.

She appears a little too sensitive to deal with uncultured apes that infiltrate the site.

Or.... they don't want to approach someone with a camera!

Trooper out riding his skateboard on the strip at 7am!
In other news, the pile of "Clean Clothes" on the floor was bigger than ever today.

I don't think the camera is on 24/7.

I was there for only a few days during the WSOP and even I have a hooker story.

The skateboard sequence gives hope for other middle-aged, non-athletic, athletes.
