I understand you though but at some level it just doesn't make a lot of sense. You turn it around and if a woman has a "Disregard Males" t-shirt we'd just sort of say, "standard" if we saw it...and maybe that is unfortunate that we'd do so. What's OK with the gander is not OK with the goose.
I understand the shirt is not misogynistic and I do think it's funny. But if they only see the top part because you're sitting at a poker table it can be misinterpreted. What would you think if you were a caucasian dealer and a black guy at your table was wearing a shirt that said "Disregard Caucasians"?

Not sure why you mentioned race there. The analogy doesn't really work because males do spend a lot of money on females regardless of race (most of us squander our earnings in our twenties and dating is a big percentage of the total loss). It was definitely true for me.

But we can say though that a man seeing a woman wearing a "disregard males" tshirt would go without comment though, right? I mean, its interesting to highlight because no man would say anything if he came across it, but there is a marked difference when the tables are turned.

BTW, Jeff LOVE the shirt. It's awesome.

I’m not sure if you guys are missing the boat on the reference for Jeff’s shirt, or if I’m missing the boat on you guys understanding the shirt.

It’s a coin flip really.

This is purely conjecture, but I'm thinking Sluzinski has gotten burned by multiple females in the past. Again, just a guess. But that would explain a lot more than just the t-shirt.

He was in complete denial and was also giving us bad beat stories. How many was that? 3 bad beat stories after he lost $1k and he said he wasn’t upset?

I would be upset about losing $1k in a 1-2 NL game and that’s fine. Nothing wrong with him being mad about that either.

There are somethings that women can do that men can’t as far as social acceptance. I was at a farmers market a few weeks back and saw a old couple selling veggies. I stared talking to the husband and asked him the “secret of a long lasting marriage. He responded with “keep your mouth shut”...the same stuff you would expect to see on a tv sitcom. Now, had I ask the wife and she said “keep your mouth shut”... the initially reaction would be omg what a controlling husband even if it was said in a joking context.

I do have a theory on why this is the case but I don’t want to start a political debate.

You do realize there is a difference between men and women physically, right? Maybe that plays a slight role in the different interpretations?

Come on, no need to state the obvious. Of course men and women differ physically. Men have evolved from toiling, fighting, hunting, strenuous physical labor. You can see that different in skeletal structures between the sexes.

But even if you take a muscular woman who is bigger than her husband, and you apply my example, the reaction would be the same even though the woman is physically superior to the man.

My point is that if the idea of pain is apply to the sexes, society would feel more sympathy towards the woman. If a woman gets a flat tire on the road , she would get help faster than any man. The prettier she is the faster she will get help because we (men and women) can’t fight out biology.

Do the folks who are offended by boski’s ignore females shirt also get offended when trooper does his monthly white knight act of saying he almost got into a fight to protect a female? I’m an extremly non-violent individual but I’m a trans-inclusive feminist and like to think I’d intervene for a dude as quickly as I’d intervene for a chick. If the girl was the agressor and struck first, I’d let her take what she had coming the same as if a dude hit first and got rocked. Aggressive violence is mever cool in my opinion.

Dave Chapelle is totally on to something aboit us being brittle this days. It’s like we almost look for stuff to be outraged about. That H&M monkey shirt is a good example. I’m mixed race (black passing) and my sisters have married white, black and brown respectably. Guess what I call all of my nieces and nephews? Monkey! It’s just a term for little kids. I’ve heard white friends do the same. My black grandma called me monkey. It’s just a midwest thing I think. Are we going to stop calling monkey bars momkey bars?

excellent point i've come across situations like that many times and the fellow often gives that explanation. I think I'll buy Jeff's shirt but i prefer to paypal purchases and there's no option for that with that one. That will be my second poker vlogger purchase to go with my "Go Gamble" hat.

I certainly do realize that yet society makes us pretend it is otherwise so my point is that we should all be talking back and refuting the lies we are commanded to spout. To channel Voltaire, you know who rules over you by who you are not allowed to criticize.

Re Boski's t-shirt, I don't remember seeing any similar discussion over Trooper routinely referring to females as bitches. Watched one of his vlogs last week where he said 'Look at this b1tch' when he was talking about someone walking on the road. Never brought it up as it can be standard for him but thought it's relevant now that the thread seems to have taken a turn in this direction.

Well Timmy da Twooper nearly lost it again tonight, squaring off with some angry black male from Cali who tried to disavow knowing the Twoop's Thursday meetup game was being filmed. Twoop said in the wrapup the agro/afro was told when he say down and there definitely are signs alerting to same.

Did the agro/afro "start it". 100% yes, and the taking of the GoPro from in front of the Twoop should've gotten him 86ed immediately from the game, but Twoop loves to play the fake tough guy with a smarmy ahole trump card too often. Now Twoop will have to shoot his pants every night for a month when he goes to his far away car park slot at Westgate in fear this agro/afro won't be lying in wait for him.

In case of a small fire, NEVER ask Timmy da Twooper for H2O to put it out; you'll surely get gasoline instead.

Moral of the story...being right doesn't give you carte blanche to be a prick about it. Anyone with an I.Q. over 90 ain't buying the tough guy stuff anyway, especially since da Twoop's been an all to careful study of the Nevada definitions of assault and battery.

Maybe like Nixon Twoop will have to compile an ENEMIES list. this agro/afro. the Bally's security staff, certain homeless bridge squatters, etc.?

It's honestly OK to be a hater, I choose that path from time to time myself. To blame this confrontation on Tim is going out of bounds, though. The tough guy act was a bit much, sure, but to think any of that was Trooper's fault is delusional.

How the guy causing the trouble wasn't tossed is beyond stupid. Come on Westgate, get your **** together.

What!? Did I play with this guy at Encore the same night? Once I heard his voice he suddenly looked really familiar to me.

What time is the Trooper game at Westgate? I’m curious when he left and now I’m wondering if it’s the same guy.

Edit: This guy showing up at Encore makes sense because it’s closer to Westgate than many of the other poker rooms in town.

This Troop vlog is wild!!! I'm just half way into this. I have to down load the YouTube app to capture the essence (360).

I say this from the heart. Troop you need to get into Budhism. It's not worth it to be confrontational to the world.

It damn makes for some great vlogs tho!! Best Trooper month so far! He blows away everybody!

Totally agree. That tops the ski trip to Austria. I don't know how long it will be up.

Epic on so many levels. I can't believe what I just watched.

The most genious part of that vlog was Trooper's cross talk with the Villian which I would not recommend to anyone. I think captures the essence of Trooper's personality we have witnessed the last 3 years. That performance is Oscar worthy!!!

The kicker if you have not watched
Spoiler:
Troop had to drive back all the way back home to get his ID for security

That other guy was clearly annoyed from the beginning and I would have tried to calm him down. Trooper did the opposite and decided to escalate the situation. He doesn’t exactly look innocent to me either.

One last post and then I'll take a break. I'm sure thread is about to blow up.

Yeah. You even see security telling Troop to stop, but dude is creating entertainment.
