Trooper up +$3220 over 92.5 hours of play.

Presently running at +$34.80/hour.

Who could've imagined all he had to do was add volume to make money.

Will he win the freeroll for a few thousand?

Keep running it up!!!

He has nearly no real furniture in his new apartment and he drives a 3-door Hyundai Volester.

He's doing alright but he's not staying at Veer Towers or driving Whey's beamer, let's curb the enthusiasm a little bit.

My favorite part of trooper videos is when he talks about how "grown" he is. Most "grown" people I know have beds that don't need to be inflated every night. I haven't watched his new stuff but he's on a heater, yesterday was black friday, he still couldn't spend $400-$500 for a bed?

Trooper is the Chris Moneymaker of poker VLOGs but I think we can all agree that Andrew is the Phil Ivey on a relative scale. Nice to see Trooper get a big score.

Good win trooper.
I bet in his head he is "Finally my hands held up". Instead of thinking about it rationally like Andrew explained in one of his earlier vlogs

I think he is good enough for 2/5. He should do the same challenge but at 2/5! That way he can win 2.5k or more in a single sessh.

so, are we aloud to post vlogs in NVG now?

or is cody the only one cause he is a pokerstars pro and deserves the exponentially more views as a standalone vlog thread on the most viewed forum by far on 2+2?

edit: also,

wrong

COTC posted a drunk video that was misinterpreted (genuinely or nefariously is to be debated) as a psycho blah blah and was ultimately what closed the thread

Ok, if you say so. Is that why the mods stepped in because of one video?? The mods made it clear it was the back and fourth disrespect that closed the thread. Its not one guy that got the thread closed. It was a handful of the same people posting daily.

I dont know about that kind of win for Troop at this point but there's really no reason he couldn't fire a few shots at 2/5. He seems to occasionally play in a couple higher max 1/2-1/3 games so no reason he couldn't take a couple bullets to say the Bellagio 2/5 game if he wanted to.

That is an interesting question you present and there certainly are many variables to consider. Depending on where his life roll is at and what his winrate at his current level is, I get the feeling that he's probably not looking to take any serious shots at 2/5 since he hasn't been crushing the level he's currently at (based on what I've seen in vlogs).

Yeah thats sort of why I added "if he wanted to". He seems as comfortable as Troop can be at the lower stakes, not sure he wants to take the shots. But if you're going to play the Wynn 1/3 or buyin for @ $400 to the $1/2 game he just played, no reason you couldnt test yourself for 3-5 buyins.

If he wanted to.

If he can't beat 1/2 for a yearly good profit why would he jump up to 2/5? A lot of poker players either are big dreamers or lack self-awareness. Without a bankroll and good management of money. Taking a random shot at 2/5 doesn't make sense. All it would take is one week of bad beats and he is done. He said it not even a few months ago when he was in a 1/2 game at PH for 1700.That his roll couldn't last 2/5 sessions losing multiple buys.

I agree, this is very impressive. I've only had 2 sessions in my life this big and both were in KC where I regularly play. What's your biggest score at this level, Ryan?

It would be interesting for sure. Taking a 2/5 shot combined with an upswing would definitely attract more eyes to his vlog. I think a lot of people want to see him succeed.

If you read my TR, which is kinda lame and very tldr, you will see that I cleared $645 in less than 3 hours at the MGM today. Obviously, $200 plus an hour is not sustainable but ... I think there's a good chance I at least make the next freeroll. Been years since I have seen a room populated by so many bad players and tourists.

It might not last. Fish bring in the sharks. If the games are consistantly as good as I have seen there, easy money, for now. Be crazy to move to 2/5 when the 1/2 game is this easy. Sail to the Flemish Cap my friends.
