A 14yo with 40k in the bank that wasn’t gifted to him by family. He earned and saved that much on his own. Lol.

People just making **** up.

I heard he was mayor of his town at 15yo and rode a dragon to school.

This isn't even a best friend, this is just a childhood right correct? Either way I'm kinda jealous that someone with this degree of details knows about him and can recall events from his childhood.

I think I can speak on the behalf of everyone in this thread, we all wish we had a "real" friend like you.

14 is the youngest legal age you can start work in New York State. Even if he worked illegally from age 10, $10k a year would be an incredible amount of money to be earning while going to school.

There are so few ways for someone that young to generate $40k like that, and movie theaters + picking up bottles definitely aren't going to get you there.

Spell out how much is in his bank accounts and assets? What assets are we even talking about here? His vehicle? If he had other investments, wouldn't he have made a video about how smart he is for owning those investments?

The bar mitzvah thing is interesting and could be the key to it but wouldn’t he have had to have gotten like 50k for it to be worth over 100 now? I don’t know anything about bar mitzvahs or what age they even happen or how much is usually given so will defer to you

I also have a hot Asian wife which I will now include pics of
Using the rule of 72's, and the general market's growth rate of around 9% it would double in 8 years. So it could have been 25k to start with and doubled twice to be 100k now.

I was offered a job to be a weed mule for $1500 a week when I was 17.

This is true; but then the town went bankrupt after Icetown was a failure.

Not necessarily. My friend's wife chose U. Baltimore on scholarship over better name schools and it was likely a smart choice for her. She graduated with no debt and got an OK job in Maryland (which she quit shortly thereafter to have kids). Point being, the Law is geographically limiting as a general matter. Unless you go to a "National School," you should go to a school in a region you have roots and/or would like to like/work after graduation. NY, Boston, etc., do not lack for schools of all caliber. Going to a mediocre school in Nebraska instead of staying local makes little sense, as shown by ED's comments about how jobs were BS because firms were more interested in finding someone who was looking to stay long term rather than hiring the best candidates . . .

Going to law school when you don't want to be a lawyer is a whole other issue . . .

Really? Ever heard of shoveling snow? Mowing lawns? Selling weed?

This thread is awful at taking information in front of them and drawing conclusions. Dont waste your time big papa. This thread is best to just watch, like they all watch diesel and troopers vlogs, too make fun of and look down on

What was the minimum wage 15 years ago?

At $4 an hour, it would take 10,000 hours to gross $40,000.

Interest rates during the period were < 1%.

So it is not from investment income.

He earned that 40k by age 14 the old fashion way. While all his classmates were having fun at lunch Rice was tirelessly roaming the playground collecting discarded plastic bottles.

Before and after school he would also go through all the neighbourhood trash in search of valuable bottles that had been foolishly thrown out.
