I’m overjoyed to log in and find this thread. I haven’t been active on these boards the past 5 or 6 years, and have mostly lost my taste for social media during that same time frame, but my passion for photography pulses unabated. Also slightly unhinged to find MSchu18 casually mentioning liminal spaces, a concept which I was literally introduced to yesterday. Then today I log on to the boards for the first time in a blue moon and am immediately confronted by a photo and caption of exactly such a space. Coincidence or?
I have literally thousands of photos of Vegas from my trips over the years. Gonna take a bit of an image dump here shortly, I just need some creative laxative first. Some of these appeared in my old LVL TRs. I love telling stories through images, I’ll keep captions to a minimum. Will probably be back in Vegas in a couple of weeks and maybe I’ll bring a real camera this year.
Just started looking through my digital archives. They don’t cover my first ever Vegas trip which was the tail end of my honeymoon back in ’96. Mrs. Pixel and I had just spent two magical weeks on Kauai and honestly Vegas was a bit of a letdown after spending time on (literally) Fantasy Island. There are photos of the Vegas portion of the honeymoon, but all too few and all were taken with film cameras. I’ve never digitized those images; they exist only as ephemera mounted in physical albums.
All photos I post here were taken by me in Vegas on an iPhone.
Liminal space, in Vegas
am I doing this right?
