The pics in this thread are awesome.

I wish I was more of a picture person when I was younger. Though I do have pics of a buddy and I crossing I-15 on foot (literally) back in the 1990's when it was possible. Also a great picture of the workers picketing the old Frontier. Unfortunately I am in the pictures (and clearly identifiable)I don't want to share that.

^Crazy Horse? Strip clubs probably the business that was most hit by the pandemic. This country has a shortage of doctors and it’s now become harder for young ladies to work there way through med school.

Not sure how much Lake Mead water evaporates each year, but it's a lot.

Aquifers effectively save water, but you can't water ski on an aquifer nor run a hydroelectric turbine on it.

Man, I thought it overflowed more recently than that. Guess I'm really old. It was when I lived in AZ because I saw it when I drove from the AZ side. You could see fish getting too close to the overflow spillway and getting caught up in the current, and over the side. They were big, too, over 2 feet.

I guess the news wasn't widely known outside of Vegas because it was easy to find a parking space on the AZ side. However, when I left, heading for Vegas, I saw a massive line of cars, with people trying to park in the tiny lots on the NV side. Traffic looked backed up halfway to Boulder City.
