Weird, I've been to Picasso in jeans several times. How recently was this?

unfair special treatment for the panorama crew, obv. they must have your pictures pinned up in the back everywhere.

LOVE Cut, been twice, both times fantastic, good service, can't complain, had a bone in filet first time and a rib eye the second time, they are so far the best steaks I have ever eaten. Both times had the Steak Tartare app, amazing, and the pork belly app is great too. Was able to go in pretty casually dressed. Have not tried any of the Kobe beef offerings yet.

Love Carnevino too, have not had the steak there yet, they have this amazing Saltimbocca dish I also had in NY once that I just can't get past ordering when I go.

This was probably summer of 2009.

It is POSSIBLE I may have been wearing shorts (cuz that's how I roll), but I'm fairly certain it was jeans.

I think if they don't stop you right when you walk in it's probably too impolite to make you come back to change.

Maybe I just dress like I'm homeless.

I've been to Picasso ~ 8 times, and have worn jeans every time. Never a problem with nice shoes, button down shirt, etc.

It's not like dress codes at restaurants are really enforced in Vegas.

Ate at Delmonico in flip flops, beach shorts and a t-shirt once. Concur with those who say dress code usually isn't an issue.

Headed to Mesa grill tomorrow. It's not my choice, but it's not like I'm opposed to it or something. Thoughts and suggestions?

Not a huge fan of Mesa Grill overall, but there are a couple of items that can save the meal, the apps are better than the meals, as already mentioned really good quesadillas and I recall the margarita was probably the best I have ever had.

Was just reading up on some dim sum places to try, Ping Pong Pang got a decent review, is it worth the cab ride over? Not sure where I am staying yet, but it will likely either be Venetian or Aria. Any other suggestions? I recall liking the dim sum brunch at Bellagio, and their menu food is pretty good too, but every subsequent time we went, the line was too long to bother.

I generally hate getting pork tenderloin at a restaurant (seems like crap I can make at home), but the coffee pork tenderloin there is really great.

You couldn't throw on a nice pair of pants one time?

Just once?....

I didn't own a pair of pants nicer than jeans until I went to a Bar Mitzvah in January ;p

I think the private schooler in me that had to wear a tie to school every day for 10 years had to rebel a bit.

I can confirm that Jaleo in Cosmo is well worth a trip. Everything we tried was damn good. Didn't get to try the Paella but it looked and smelled incredible.

The Sangria here is very good btw.

Eaten at STK twice now. Surprisingly good food and very good service. Not the best place for deep conversation due to the live DJ in the house (music is very loud), but it's definitely fun and prob worth a trip for most of those in the 2p2 demo. Think N9NE on steroids in terms of the vibe.

Sounds like a great place to take a girl you don't want to have too much conversation with.

+1

Also, excited about Jaleo @ cosmo. Just moved to Vegas, and Jaleo in Bethesda MD was my favorite tapas place.
