Is there anything Downtown worth a lunch/dinner? I've been to Vegas a few dozen times and never had a meal downtown.

Kitchen at atomic and Carson kitchen should be at top of your list, but plenty of options

I’ve been seeing really good things about this.

Atomic that is, Carson though is also supposed to be good.

Not sure if it qualifies as fine dining since the atmosphere is fairly casual, but Esther's Kitchen is downtown and excellent. Homestyle Italian from a chef with a good pedigree. No one thing stood out because every dish impressed me. Asparagus frisée was one of the best salads I've had in a while in spite of it being so simple. That's the main theme here since I could say the same about the pasta: well executed and simple.

Trying to get miles ahead of a March Madness Trip for next year.

Anywhere on the strip with a private dining room with a TV or multiple TV's? Steakhouse or something like that would probably work best but open to most types of food.

The chef (from sparrow and wolf) has now also left kitchen at atomic. Had a pretty middling experience there recently.

Lame, thanks for this I’ll scratch it off my list.

Not sure it’s a scratch off, those baked clams alone look worthwhile.

Yeah I would say the execution left something to be desired, as did the service. It wasn't *bad* but it wasn't appropriate for the price point, and it isn't something I feel the need to point out-of-towners toward. Almost every normal sized city has something on par with or better than my recent experience there.

Locals should still have this on their radar, and it's a nice place to go get a drink or two (or, even better, next door at atomic liquors).

For starter I think we had octopus and think it was pretty good, don’t remember exactly. Also feel like we had some Parmesan cheese.

For mains split the veal parm and lobster ravioli. The veal parm was v good but not worth whatever it cost. The lobster ravioli was amazing with big extra chunks of lobster on the side.

Had mushrooms and something else for sides, they were good.

Wine bottle list was crazy expensive. Had a glass of something that was pretty good. Also had a couple of excellent cocktails.

Ate at the bar, service was great. Pretty steep dinner bill even for Aria. Overall quite enjoyable dinner, but certainly not a value pick.

Was pretty blown away by Edo Tapas. Everything was good to great. The service and knowledge of the servers was absurd.

Went to Sparrow and Wolf Sunday night, have to say one of the best all around meals I've ever had. We started out with getting the bread, was so tasty, then we had this tomato and cream cheese dish, was awesome, Octopus was delicious, the steak tartare was fantastic and the Lasagna is a MUST try, something about it was so ****ing incredible, they really are one of the best places to eat at in vegas.

I did Picasso on Friday night. Food was phenomenal and would likely do it again. For a two star Michelin joint, the prices weren't terrible. (Still pricey, don't get me wrong)

Been a long time since I visited Vegas or the forum. Looking for some good eats though.

How's NoMad Bar? Looking for a place to grab a bite after my flight lands at 8, but before the last of the group lands at 11. Seems to fit the bill.

Probably try to do Lotus on Saturday night. Not sure yet about Sunday and Monday.

Best suggestion for using my $100 celebration dinner (don't mind paying more, obviously). It will be just my girlfriend and me, and we eat/like everything, pretty much.

Esther's Kitchen, Raku, Lamaii. I like Hachi quite a bit but it's pretty casual, fun though. Black sheep? Kabuto or Kame if $ not an issue?
