I assume it will be like every other Chart House. If it's like the only Chart House I've been to, it will be quite sh*tty.

just wanted to mention the all mighty "the chessecake factory" at the Ceasars Palace, right next to their aquarium. For me, its a must. Fantastic cusine, best sweets.

Not exactly fine dining but ya it is good. Grand Lux is better...

RE: Cheesecake Factory

There's a thread in LVF for restaurants less than $50/person.

Had a really great dinner at Craftsteak last night. Rumors of their quality going down are overblown imo.

I had the Waygu tartare, grilled quail with kumquat, the filet/half lobster combo, sides of hen of the woods mushrooms and brussel sprouts with a scoop of dreamsicle and a scoop of pistacio for desert. All were great, the tartare was exquisite. Started with 06 Evenstad Reserve, then 95 Pichot Longeuville Comtesse de Lalande.

Agreed. And a scotch or two off their list whilst UR at it 2! And I find LVs wine selections to be good quality, but overpriced.

I've had it before. I like to not fill up on bread at these places, lets me eat more real food.

I don't like scotch.

There are good values on many vegas wine lists if you know what you're looking for. They had 03 Pontet Canet for $150, for example.

FWIW I brought my own wine in and almost always do so.

I had the Tartare several times in the past few years, including last month. In my opinion it's alot more 'filler' now - noticeably so. I'm still a huge fan of the place, and I also really really enjoy the woods mushroom side dish.

Skip the pasta dishes and head straight to the steak menu @ carnevino.

Anyone think that SW is far too low on this list. I have been to all of the steakhouses on this list besides THE Steakhouse, and Carnevino (I know this is a sin among 2+2 guys), and it has always been my favorite place when combining atmosphere, service, food, and most importantly the quality of their ribeye.

Been to most of these, and 1-3 is exactly how I would have ranked it before opening the article. The list is perfect.

maybe I just had a terrible experience there, but having Neros on this list is laughable.

Was actually LOLing last night at how good Sage was. If repeat experiences are the same, it will be my new favorite restaurant (and I'm totally an overly critical food snob).

We split 5 apps:

Roasted Sweetbreads - OMFG, soo good. Super juicy and flavorful. Served on top of Creamy White Polenta, with bacon and mushrooms, whole dish was excellent - 10/10

Foi Gras Custard Brulee - Think creme brulee that's Foie Gras flavored instead of vanilla. You spoon it onto a warm salted brioche that complimented it perfectly 9.5/10

Wagyu Beef Tartare - 9/10

Escargot and Pork Belly Agnolotti - 7.5/10

Grilled Ribeye Cap Steak - 7.5/10

Main Courses:

Roasted Loin of Spanish Iberico Pork with a Pork Shoulder Cannelloni - Juicy, flavorful, tender, just an amazing meat prepared excellently - 9/10

Braised Veal Cheeks - Soft, melt in your mouth texture. Not quite as good as the pork, but still very good. I will say this portion was on the smaller side - 8/10

I'm not a dessert connoisseur so I'll skip the details, but if you like milk chocolate, get the chocolate dome. I loved it.

thanks for the suggestions, jerks!

i throughly enjoyed the mix paella and escalibada (esp the red pepper and tomato, holy ****). i didn't really care for the lobster+pineapple skewers. same for the chicken skewers. i actually ordered the chicken croquetas but they brought out the skewers on accident. the waiter was mediocre but the food came out really fast so I was pleased enough with the service.

edit: we also got the glorified tater-tots, they were obviously good but it would be hard to screw that up so i didn't mention it.
