Overpriced? I really disagree. $120 for a 5 course amazing tasting is pretty tough to beat in this town. I need specific examples to get your frame of mind.

I didn't realise how expensive other fine dining tasting menus were. I retract my previous statement.

Headed to Picasso soon in a group of 6. Will we all have to order from the same menu? I feel like I should know the answer for sure but I don't.

There are two choices of a menu, you can pick either one. I prefer the Degustation and think it is a better menu.

No they do not, but the degustation has one more course so the people who choose the other menu will have to sit out a course.

You can kinda do whatever you want at Picasso in my experience. If you want to order four courses worth of dishes mixed and matched from the 3 course and 4 course menus they're perfectly happy to do that. If some people in the party want more courses than others that's fine.

If you haven't been to Cut, go there. It's better than SW.

Better is arguable for sure. But Cut is excellent and certainly worth a visit. I prefer the ambiance at SW, the steaks are probably really close to equal and I think Cut has the best side dishes of any steakhouse.
