I've only been 4 times, but I think meh encapsulates HK. Great location and as you said the staff is good and a great atmosphere, but the food is just ok. I will say it's very consistent, ime.

It's been a while, but I'll suggest Bardot for the Wellington. The recent mention of Delilah might be worth a look. Both are pricey, though.

Well I guess if we are on subject of tourist traps, Wellington is fantastic at Eiffel Tower. It’s probably my wife’s favorite restaurant in vegas because of the atmosphere and service, but some of the dishes are top notch French food: filet with foie in a red wine reduction is perfect. Prices on wine are maybe the worst in vegas though, and it’s the most stereotypical French menu but sometimes that is perfect.

Any recommendations for a tasting menu experience where the highlights or main focus isn't around say seafood?

I feel like some of the fancier places my wife wouldn't enjoy some of the courses that are more adventurous with seafood/sushi/raw fish? outside of shrimp/lobster as she isn't a big fish person. We'd like to get a good value, but I wouldn't like to have to eat double of all the courses that don't align with her. Other than that we enjoy most other things. We'll be out there next week and are looking to find something. I have shown her some of the various posts from here in the past and the idea of the experience she likes other than being faced w/ having to pass on certain courses.

Ehh...I feel like things like tartare, roe, other raw things is where she'd want to pass it off. Although fish in general isn't something she really enjoys. And I'm not saying I exactly enjoy everything, but I would try itfor the experience, but wouldn't necessarily like to be defaulted to try everything 2x especially if I wasn't a fan.

I thought Hell’s Kitchen was 9/10 but out of everything we ordered the Wellington was my least favorite. The short rib and lobster risotto were 10/10. I’d give the Wellington a 7-7.5/10
