Bouchon bakery at Venetian would be a good choice.

For those of you who have tried bot EoS and Jimmy John's, how does JJ compare? JJ is about my favorite sub place.

well EoS offers hot sandwiches, so that's probably the main difference.

the JJ bread is the long, sub sandwich kind that they slice down the middle and open up like subway does. EoS bread is more like quiznos where they completely cut the bread into two pieces.

so funny, i work at JJ's, at least 3 times per week someone calls or comes in and immediately orders a philly cheesesteak or meatball sandwich and then is shocked that we don't have it.

Been here 4 nights and only had EoS, Bouchon, Bacchanal, and BurGR.

EoS I ate at twice it's so god damn solid.

Bouchon was awesome food. Went for breakfast and was disappointed they didn't have the chicken and waffles but the waffles were awesome.

Bacchanal is a 10/10 buffet wise. Was creaming my pants after the first plate and this was before I realized there was a second section in the back with Italian, Chinese, Sushi and a Salad Bar.

BurGR was disappointing in my opinion. The wings appetizer was real good, the spicy chicken sliders were very bland. Burger was like a 7/10 and the fries were bland as well. Waitress was smoking hot though so I can't complain.

Edit: forgot I also had the Palms buffet which was a 8/10 and comparable to the Borgata buffet in AC. It was also $6 for breakfast and $9 for lunch if you had a palms card and lunch came with UNLIMITED blue moon. Crazy deal.

Bouchon. Sunday Brunch. Chicken and Waffles. CUT is pretty great for steaks. I've had positive experiences at B&B Ristorante and Valentino's as well, but the first two I mentioned were >>> (which isn't to say the latter 2 weren't good).

Edit: Oops, I guess most of these qualify as fine dining.

public house is good if you like brew pub type places. grand lux is kinda like the cheesecake factory, but it's open 24/7 and it's decent. my buddy loves noodle asia although i think it's kinda meh.

there's a place called "First" that's kinda in between venetian/palazzo that i thought was amazing. you can get a table with a strip view and we were lucky enough to see the TI pirate show happen during our meal. i had the blackened skirt steak with chirizo potato hash, franks red hot oil sauce, and spicy cheese sauce topped with two medium eggs. it was delicious.

Grand Lux is ideal for big portion comfort food, and generally there is never too much of a wait.

I don't mind Noodles Asia, but personally I prefer Zine Noodles from the Palazzo.

Cut is probably my favourite steakhouse in Vegas, and Carnevino is very good too.

I ate at Weeziana Gumbo the other day and have to say it was pretty damn fantastic. Best gumbo I've ever had and the bread pudding was ridiculously good.

Yelp link - http://www.yelp.com/biz/weeziana-gum...more-las-vegas
Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/WeezianaGumbo?fref=ts

It's in the same cafe as Kaba Curry and Wing King.
