Mijo at Durango was terrible, do not recommend. The fajitas had literally no salt or seasoning, don’t know if they just forgot it or what. The “blackened shrimp” wasn’t blackened at all, it wasn’t even grilled. Fajitas supposed to be sizzling (as described on menu) came out lukewarm.
Sent back the fajitas, manager said he would take it off the bill and offered the birria short rib. That was average at best. Had some kind of weird creamed corn on bottom and short rib was pretty bland. Cheese on the short rib didn’t work for me, and I love cheese on everything.
Chips and salsa were just ok. The churros were decent but not great. The tortillas with the fajitas were rock hard, literally like a brick that you could break on the table.
Credit to the manager for making things right and comping most of our bill but I would not go back.
