Am I just dumb for not being able to find good restaurants open after 11pm not on the strip? Herbs and Rye is closed Sunday and there's a thai place on sammy davis that I've been to and is fine. But how does vegas not have decent restaurants open late. Even some of the strip is whack. MGM and NYNY dont have **** other than pizza and capriottis.

For some nice sandwiches with fries or tots try the Deli by the Luxor Sports book. I've had several meals there while working shows there.

nyny, shake shack open til 2
park mgm , side betty grill 24

They previously had truffle tots (because Vegas). We had the loaded tots last month.... or whatever they are called. Not sure they are better than nachos.

The standard tots are fine.

Had a nice dinner at Shigotonin. Got out for $100pp no drinks w a few premium items — really it’s closer to fine dining prices. Their cuts of sashimi and sushi (all hand rolls) are quite large, so don’t be immediately put off by the prices though. Nice experience.

Had dessert across the street at Sweet Mong, had this cinnamon honey korean pancake which i enjoyed and the Nutella “croffle” — anyway both were good but I won’t crave either. Nice spot for something quick and sweet.

Born and Raised, Steiners, Giuseppe’s, Bootleggers, I think Brass Fork which are in Stations is also good, all of those I believe are 24/7

i work a couple blocks away from the original lardo in portland and happy to see them thrive in vegas. looks like the cosmo prices are a few bucks more than the regular menu, although the pho'rench dip, which i highly recommend, is a wee bit cheaper.

The pho’rench dip is the best. Always hard to decide between that and porchetta. Well worth the $16-18 for the sandwiches

Chinatown is your friend. Would add Ichiza (casual) and Raku (higher end casual but it’s always been an after-hours chef spot) to the aforementioned Hachi and Izakaya Go, but you can get good food late. Although I left the office at 2:30a one night last week and most of the places I checked had closed at 2. It was a weekday though.

It's very weird how Vegas has become less of a 24 hour city. I don't think there are any grocery stores open past midnight anymore. If anybody knows one, please share.

Obviously, you've got Rivas, Roberto's and 90 other Mexican places.

On the east side, there is a Thai place called The Memory that is open till 2am at least some nights. It's not the best, but it's fine. Cheba Hut (I didn't realize till now that this is a national chain) is open till midnight and 2am on Fri and Sat. Capprioti's on paradise is 24hr and several places in that shopping center are open late. Both are sub places. I spent 10 years thinking the owners of Cheba are idiots because the sign says they have "toasted" subs, and I thought they were misusing quotation marks. But it's a stoner themed place with stoner food, like fruity pebbles sqares and subs served on garlic bread. Also serves good beer.

Casa De Amore is open till 4. That's a proper sit down Italian. Highly rated, though I thought it was just fine the one time I ate there. It is a fun atmosphere and the service was good. A little overpriced, but I'll go back.

Ichabod's is 24 hours. It's a bar/slot place, like Steiner's or whatever, but with more emphasis on the restaurant side. The menu has more stuff like steaks, salads and pasta than a typical sports bar. It is not a high end restaurant, so understand that, for example, you're not getting a super high quality steak. But I think they prepare the food well and really enjoy it. It's a neighborhood place with regulars. Caters to an older crowd. Has very amateur live music sometimes. It's all very unpolished but with character. Like, a couple months ago I was in there while some guy was celebrating his 80th birthday with his friends, the house band was playing My Way, for him. That kind of thing.

Had A.Y.C.E buffet for the first time in a year for brunch, price is still good, quality went down significantly. Would not go again.
