My ass is leaking in a bad way. Do I do the safe thing and go to the McD at Montecarlo and sprint back to the room, or do I dare the long way from Aria to Lotus of Siam?

Quick casual dining trip report from my trip to vegas (july 6-10).

Besides fine dining establishments visited during my trip, we hit a few casual dining spots pretty much all in the cosmo or bellagio

1) First thing in wednesday night we hit no-name-pizza-kitchen in the cosmo. I thought it was excellent. I'm not from NY so I don't get good properly done NY pizza very often. I thought the crust on the pizza was great. The supreme was good, and the meatball and ricotta has become my new favorite pizza. I think 3 slices plus a coke was under 20 so it's also reasonable in my book.

2) Bellagio Cafe for breakfast 3 days - Solid breakfasts as usual here. Wife and I generally have the corned beef hash and eggs (me) and steak and eggs (her). The frozen bellini's here and house bloody mary's are also SOLID. I've not had a better hash and eggs anywhere. We generally also order a third breakfast when we eat just to try something. One day we ordered as our extra the stuffed french toast, which is stuffed with raspberries and pastry cream. It was pretty solid but honestly if it was your only dish it would be a bit rich for my taste. However, if it's just something extra to taste, it's solid. Similar experience with the banana's foster waffle we ordered as our extra one day. One more shoutout to those frozen bellini's. Solid.

As a side note we hiked our ass from the cosmo to the ventian for breakfast at bouchon one day only to find they were closed...no word on the website or anything. Pissed me right off, so I still haven't had breakfast there....and after this experience i'm not sure I care if I ever have breakfast there.

3) Noodles in the bellagio for dim sum lunch on sunday - Good food. Our waitress was a little overwhelmed I thought as if they weren't properly staffed. Food was good. The dim sum was solid, particularly the pork dumplings. In addition to the dim sum we also hit some of our old standby favorites, stir fried bok-choy, oxtail soup and potstickers. All were very good. We also tried a new dish, the cantonese roast duck and it was very very good. Chicken satay was meh. If you haven't had the oxtail soup off the app menu here you have to try it. You won't be sorry.

4) Todd English P.U.B. - I'd been dying to go here, and my wife's friends hit us with a text saying they were there, so it didn't take a lot of arm twisting to get us over there. I'd been wanting to try their cask-conditioned ale. We wander over and I had the cask-conditioned ale and a pound of prime rib. The ale was great. Good flavor, little texture, served at a sort of cellar temp. It reminded me of some good belgian ales. The prime rib was very good with an excellent horse-radish sauce. They also had really good king crab that was of very respectable size, served cold (pricey but real nice size). One of our party also ordered the "duck buns" which were roast duck with a hoisin sauce served on asian style buns. This was very good, but also very rich. Not sure I'd want it by myself but split amongst people it's a solid app. The lobster roll was meh, wouldn't order again.

PUB is a bit expensive to be considered casual but honestly it's casual type food. Some of it's good, and you have to pay for it, but when I'm in Vegas I don't really care what it costs as long as it's good. I'd say PUB falls into that category of not too fancy but real high quality.

Just tried China Mama because of the recommendation from Eating Las Vegas and thought it was pretty underwhelming.

Highly recommend Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay though, as I'm a big fan of their vanilla milkshakes.

But if I'm wrong, so be it, and please carry on. Sorry for the derail.
i tried to fight this fight re fuddruckers but met same reaction.

I am supposed to have lunch in a little less than an hour, but whoops, there goes my appetite.

Sorry about that. It's all good now.

Where would one go to get some good chicken? Not talking about KFC, but a place in that variety would be nice.

After 11pm you can get the wings and you get more chicken than the entree for fewer dollars.

I don't know what it should look like, but I know what it shouldn't look like. It shouldn't look like something the cat barfed up.

The noodles place at the B is not very good.
