Went japaneiro last night late. Service was rushed, they turned music off before I was done, :15 before close. Idk, food was fine, awful vibe. Won’t be back.

Give it another shot before 2:30am, there certainly aren’t many options that compete with food quality super late night.

I’m a big fan of Gaetano’s.

Also, excellent post Doorbread, will have to check out some of those spots.

Go-to order? I had mostly finger food: mini-tacos, skewers, lettuce wraps. I thought the chicken skewers and beef tacos were good.

Soulbelly BBQ is legit, thanks whoever made the rec a few months ago. Best BBQ I've had in town so far AINEC.

Two meat combo, brisket (mix fatty/lean), pork belly, mac & cheese, collards. Even luckboxed a brisket end piece. Everything was phenomenal. Not a cheap lunch at $30 and I'll be suffering from meat sweats at work the rest of the day, but I will def be back.

My normal is crushing happy hour menu, order something from specials board, and then get the bone marrow and steak which is killer

I’ve been recommended Forte and Gaati Thai in the last week. Not sure I trust either but was given the impression both are best thing since sliced bread. If anyone has been I’m interested in your feedback

I posted about Forte on the last page. I want to go back next month for my birthday. Specifically I had the khachapurri, pelmeni, chebureki and the Bulgarian mixed grill. All were really good.

We went to Forte our last pre-covid trip. It was excellent IMHO.

Thx guys. On my list for this week. Another excellent takeout from Le Thai 2 tonight. Makes me sad we moved out to the burbs.

Quick question: when you crave take-out fried rice, preferably pork or chicken, and are willing to travel anywhere in Vegas for it, where do you go?

maybe archies... but sometimes they are inconsistent.

If you are willing to travel are you also willing to pay for expensive fried rice? If so the oxtail fried rice at blue ribbon at red rock casino is insanely good.

Doorbread, excellent recommendation on Served Global Dining! We wound up showing up at 8 because of the 1 hour wait to get our rental at the airport and wound up being the only ones there for the last 45 minutes. Chef came out and chatted with us. The food was fantastic - I had the bone-in pork chop as my main and the management had beef stroganoff pappardelle - both were fabulous, as was her grilled caesar salad and my arugula & fig salad. Great flavours and he really does get creative with combinations and takes risks.

Thanks. I'll check all these out.

And I just want to mention--I've only been there once since the plague struck, but--the Night Market fried rice at Ping Pang Pong is in a class by itself. (It's spicy.)

I like all the fried rice at Le Thai 2. I tend to go with the short rib fried rice, but I really like the garlic also.

Went to Wallys at resort world for lunch. Food was great, prices were expensive even for the strip. Overall very unimpressed with resorts world. I tier matched my seven star card, they put me in their high tier but they said even the card was the same. Can’t say I expect to spend much time here in the future.

The wife and I went for dinner and got the 3 meat combo. Brisket, smoked Turkey and Ribs. Collards and pasta salad for sides. Definitely enough for us to split. Everything was top notch. Sauces were very good as well. I think the bill with a couple of sodas was $40 which was a great deal. Highly recommend.
