This is Windy City Beefs and Pizza on Eastern.

So this time I got a Chargrilled Jumbo Vienna beef dog and it was great in every way. And I got an Italian beef sandwich w cheese peppers and giardiniera dry with a cup of gravy on the side for dipping and I enjoyed it much more than the dipped one from last week.

Nice. On my to-do list. Grew up in Chicago and worked a summer at Red Hot Ranch on Devon Ave.

Is it worth it? How's the $7.99 steak special? How's their beer?

I see they have $5 blackjack. That could be fun.
The steak special......is that a breakfast or dinner thing ?

For anyone that lives in Vegas and wants a good meal prep place (especially if you do keto/paleo diet), try https://www.thegourmetcave.com/

I've been ordering 10 meals a week from her for 4 weeks now and everything I've had has been really good. All of the dishes are like $8-10, which is super cheap for meal prep with organic ingredients/grass-fed beef/etc. Best meals:

-Sweet sriracha salmon w/ bok choy/shallots
-Spaghetti squad w/ meatballs
-Barbacoa bowl
-Chicken burrito bowl
-Thai basil chicken
-Mediterranean plate
-Southwest scramble breakfast

I’ve probably said it here before but god damn the $17.99 prime rib at Ellis island should be illegal.

That’s obviously a good looking enough piece of prime rib to make it at least seem insane they’d have it at Ellis Island. What time of day did you pick this guy up Randal?

Believe it or not it was at midnight lol. Never had a bad cut there.

You usually get potato with it as well (on top of a soup or salad) but I’m on that Keto life.

Very close to the current Tacos el Gordo... just a few hundred feet away. The current one is closing next week, so they are basically just doing a very short relocation.

X2 on Hobak and 8oz. If you want AYCE, 888 and master Kim’s have the highest quality meats. 888 in Chinatown, master Kim’s off 215 and Durango

Always hear good things about Chubby Cattle but I haven't been there myself. I went to Nabe and it was good but I prefer korean BBQ over hot pot

Saint Honore: good donuts, very expensive. Like 2.25 for normal donut, 3.25 for boston creme, 4+ for vegan or gluten free, and 5.25/6.25 for their "couture" donuts.

Would eat again, but for my $$ give me ronald's all day

I really enjoy it. It's a little farther than i like to drive and pick up food and i have passable vietnamese options closer to home, but the food there is across the board good. It's not michelin star-worthy or anything, but it's a good neighborhood viet joint.
