Good Pie is not that good... I will take Five50 over Secret Pizza though

Five50 on the strip. Pin Up is a little bland in my opinion but it works in a pinch. Secret Pizza was fantastic when it opened but I feel like it's declined in quality over the years.

If you head downtown, Pizza Rock all day. If you have a car or prefer Neapolitan style Settebello is unreal good.

If it is eve relevant to anyone itt, the gluten free pizza at Good Pie is really excellent. Same at settebello.

Pizzeria Monzu on Flamingo and Jones is absolute fire. Opened by the same guy who opened Old School Pizzeria in North Las Vegas which is also amazing.

I didn't mention Monzu in my post above since I haven't been there myself yet. But it's notable that Jimmy gave it such a great review and some members of my crew I trust on food loved it too.

Also need to check out Old School now that Malucci mentioned it because his food opinions are legit.

It was a bad sign that the Italian waiter basically sneered at us as we ordered, telling us he would order the regina margherita. THEN DONT ****ING SERVE ANYTHING ELSE ****HEAD. We ordered sausage-stuffed deep fried olives and sausage (etc.) stuffed chicken wings as apps. Neither was offensive (the wings were smoked, not fired though), but the fact that they weren't offensive is the only thing making me hesitate writing "they were gross." Really overattentive Steve Buscemi lookalike staffperson basically usurped our waiter's responsibility most of dinner. Was holding the door open while we were still getting our kid out of his carseat. He was nice but needed to chill. We won't be back.

Man I guess I really need to try Monzu again. What are you guys all ordering? Like basic pizza w pepperoni or something? I had the worst experience there. Recognizing that places should get a pass once in awhile if the kitchen just isn't on, I would love for anyone jammin' through the menu there to order these things and tell me I'm wrong. It would be really welcome news tbh - maybe i was just in a total **** mood that day idk. Also would like to know if Furio and Tony Blundetto are still working there because they didn't help matters.

In that same vein maybe I need to give pizza rock another chance. I had a disgusting pepperoni and sausage New York pizza at their green valley location. The sauce was simply awful. I tend to get worried when multiple types of pizzas are on the menu instead of just mastering one. After good reviews had a number of very bland slices from good pie as well. Also agree that secret pizza as well as those guys pies which was opened by the owners of secret pie are not as impressive as I remembered years ago. I’m not sure either of these places would succeed on east coast but my go to pretty good places are Giordanos for their white pie and joes New York and 50 at aria for red sauce. Still have Dom dimarco bambino’s and monzu on my list to trt

I loved classic (got it without olives), pork reigns, and margarita was outstanding as well. Felt pesto had too much ricotta on it and I’m not a huge ricotta person. Also salumi plate w the bread. Bread was outstanding. Pizza dough is outstanding. Sauces they give you with it is outstanding. And the cocktails were phenomenal as well. Love this place.

At Old School I must recommend ordering by the slice. Full pies there in my experience just aren’t as good.

They way too much salted the last couple times I was there.

Overrated but handy for a quick snack near the Aria poker room.

I’m glad you had the courage to try them, but I last had Tacos Mexico many years ago and I can’t imagine going back for any reason.

I have had worse tacos but also much better. The only reason to go back is that on Wednesday they are $0.90. Los Tacos are bigger but also $3.50

I’d rather pay more for good food. Los Tacos and Tacos El Gordo are both good.

Yeah i like taco y taco but really never make it over there.

Also rather would pay for better food, of course, especially when it's cheap-ish to begin

I was always a Secret Pizza hater, but went back in May and had an incredible slice. Not sure if I just caught it at the right time or if they changed some recipes or something, but it might be worth another shot if you haven't been in a while.
