I used to live in Korea and loved the food (especially chop chae and ojingeo bokkeum). BBQ was one of our fun nights out, but I can't imagine paying that much! Does look wonderful, though, and I'm sure the cuts/meats are much better -- and it is Vegas!

haven't been around this thread in a while and have a couple of questions

now that Chada is closed, what are some comparable places?

my last trip to Kabuto was probably 2 years ago...does the quality still hold up?

Thanks Wyman for the rebel republic rec. I really like egg rolls apparently. Also checked out steiners which was cool but probably not a good food spot

I grew up in New York and having lived in Vegas for 20 years and not liking any of the egg rolls, I finally found one that is great. It's called New York Chinese in Henderson on Horizon Ridge and Green Valley Pkwy. Wor Wonton soup too. It's a little take out place but the food is close to New York that I grew up with.

I've been to Mabel's in Cleveland multiple times and am a BBQ enthusiast. The fatty brisket and the pig ears are musts. It's a great restaurant.

Pretty cheap. 3 tacos $12. Pork bbq plate $15, kalbi $18. Banchan $3 each but they give you a big portion.

Lots of good recs here. Going to Vegas from Jan 16th-21st for my BIL's 21st Birthday!

Goona play the Venetian Deepstack among other things.

What are some solid, middle of the road cost places that have great food? Goyemon seems the consensus for sushi. Best burger? Sandwich?

Ive been looking at Cut for a nice steak dinner one night. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance all!

Each week Charlie Palmer's at Mandalay Bay has a "cut of the week" deal. It isn't the best steak I've eaten but the experience for the price is top notch for a Boys trip and your BIL first time. Its 4 courses and bottomless wine pairings. We sat at the bar with 3 guys and the bartenders kept the wine coming. for $58 its about the best value you could get.

https://www.charliepalmersteak.com/l...ut-of-the-week

Check this when your week comes up to see about the menu for that specific week.

In Nov I got done the FT at the nightly aria, it was late and i was hungry, the only thing open was JP Patisserie, they made me an Omelette and it was INCREDIBLE. Did not try the coffee but the coffee at Bouchon Bakery at the Venetian was delicious
