Alternatively, buy two nips from Walgreens first and absorb on way then drink water at Jaleo and have drinks afterwards somewhere cheap.

Isn't the perfect G&T a moving target?

I once spent an entire week trying to develop the perfect bloody mary. It turns out that the perfect bloody mary is a glass of slightly chilled vodka.

Octopus, egg rolls, salmon skin tacos, heirloom tomato and peach salad, beef crisps (basically chicharrones), and the short rib.

Everything was stellar. That octopus though... man. Cocktails were great too. Highly recommend.

The best version of a G&T is still just good gin and good tonic, which theirs is (but with a bunch of stuff floating in it to fancy it up). It’s probably worth $20 once.

Also (not directed to you): Jaleo ain’t Mexican.

Had brunch buffet at Herringbone this weekend, really good value for $59. They basically have the entire menu on buffet including unlimited shrimp/lobster tails/poke/tuna tataki. If we had ordered off the menu it probably would've been ~$300 for everything we got. On a side note, the cocktail they have with Banger Morning Joe and a shot of Knob Creek Maple dropped into it is really, really good.

I haven't been to Kabuto or Yui yet, but for my money Sushi Hiroyoshi has the best nigiri in town.

Also this isn't really fine dining, but the A5 waguy kobe ribeye at 8oz korean steakhouse is an amazing deal for what it is. 16 ounces is $180, while steakhouses at the strip are charging $45-60 per ounce for the same thing. Best steak I've ever had, all other steak is now ruined.

Have been coming to Vegas 2-3 times a year for years now so familiar with most of the more well-known food joints on the Strip. But any of the newer food joints by the Linq any good/worth checking out? Not really familiar with any of them (other than In N Out from other locations...)

saw this earlier and didnt post, im all for eating fat on steak but do you eat the whole top that looks like pure fat? is the price difference not coming from being a worse cut? dont recall the more expensive pieces being sold with THAT much fat

The animal is raised to have that much fat-and is what makes it the finest cut of meat available......(perhaps you should look up Kobe Beef, it will help you understand)

So actually it's $17.99 with any card. I got 50% off but not sure if that's bc I paid w points or bc of tier.

Even at 17.99 you won't be disappointed.

Did you eat the cheese and rosemary stalk too? About 65% of that steak is edible, but still worth it for the price.

100% of it was edible, the fat cap was probably the best part.

hey at least you're happy with what you buy. maybe YOU should google it and learn something. im sure it tastes great but id rather have some more meat over the fat. wonder where the price comes from? see my post above..
