You guys are missing out. The Wynn sportsbook has an adjacent deli-type spot where you can get 6 chicken wings for $16.50 and wash them down with a Bud-lite for only $10.50 additional. They have to be great at that price, I would think.

I second the Tacos El Gordo appreciation. VERY good.

50 is pretty good. Overpriced of course, but whatever.

Speaking of overpriced, the breakfast sandwiches at the Wynn coffee shop are 1/10 quality and 0/10 value. Pretty much the only thing I didn't love at the property; I fully expect to pay the Wynn tax (no complaints about my $40 poolside cheeseburger and fries) but at least deliver a decent product!

100% going to try Tacos El Gordo and wouldn't have known about it without this thread.

I love Tacos El Gordo mostly because it's one of the only reasonably priced places that's still walking distance from the strip.

Had a "grandma's" slice ($3) and a mushroom (white, NY-style) slice ($5) from Good Pie this afternoon. The guy in the video was there. Both slices were very good and I absolutely would do again. Two gripes: that parking lot is god-awful and full of people who are visiting the pawn stars joint, and the pizza didn't get as hot as it should've when they warmed it in the oven (had hot and cold spots).

The latter I'm sure can be rectified by ordering a whole pie. I guess a third gripe is it shouldn't cost me $11.xx + tip for 2 slices and a drink, but whatever.

No. You love it because it is some of the best street-style tacos you can get anywhere.

I had secret pizza last time there...it was good, not mind blowing or anything.

I am heading back in two weeks for four days and always looking for suggestions.

Only restaurant i am for sure trying this time is Buddy Vs and possibly Peppermill...it just looks so fun... Also have free aria buffet so thats my buffet

I have heard New York New York has a good square pizza place... How about a good place for breakfast? Ive heard good things about hash hash go..i think that is the name.

Tried Sapporo revolving sushi. Great happy hour, ate a pile of sushi for $12. Quality comparable to AYCE places. Pretty solid overall. Don’t know how they make money selling specialty rolls for $7.50

I second Sapporo. They have good food from the kitchen you can order too. Tried the miso glazed cod, jalapeño poppers, and deep fried shrimp. All were fire. No happy hour on the kitchen food tho

Nice background pic of the placemat. The "if you are dying, drink the mung bean soup" pictorial is one of my favorite things.

Next time get the steamed egg with pork if you are going to get an appetizer.

Pizzeria Monzú: 2*, the pizza is decent with an interesting crust -- sourdough? Would order again, but it's not cheap. We took fliers on the pizza: apricot (which is jam with bacon, arugula, pignoli, goat cheese, etc.) and five cheese pesto (we added sausage). It was a bad sign that the Italian waiter basically sneered at us as we ordered, telling us he would order the regina margherita. THEN DONT ****ING SERVE ANYTHING ELSE ****HEAD. We ordered sausage-stuffed deep fried olives and sausage (etc.) stuffed chicken wings as apps. Neither was offensive (the wings were smoked, not fired though), but the fact that they weren't offensive is the only thing making me hesitate writing "they were gross." Really overattentive Steve Buscemi lookalike staffperson basically usurped our waiter's responsibility most of dinner. Was holding the door open while we were still getting our kid out of his carseat. He was nice but needed to chill. We won't be back.

Goodwich great as usual. Got the special, which is confit pork butt/belly with chicharron, green chilies, fontina, pickled carrots. And jalapeno/sour cream chips. I like the curry vinegar better but these were pretty solid.

Great reviews. Will read again!

Also, monzu juices your bill 4% for the kitchen staff because the restaurant cares about its kitchen workers. They tell you this when your bill arrives.

Monzu looks pretty good.

Someone just bought a pizza from Blaze over to me, which I have to say is excellent. -And I find 95% of pizza here to be total crap.

I feel like the official rankings of fast-casual BYO pizza have been done here, but in case anyone needs a refresher (Deadspin-style):

1. Blaze
2. Pizza Rev
3. 800 Degrees
4. Pizza Mod
5. Getting hit by a Papa John's delivery driver
6. Pieology

Pizza Rev is good?!? Why didn't anyone tell me?

Also, there are pizza places that aren't fast-casual?

What do people currently like for late night pizza options on strip, since Five50 and Cosmo seem to no longer be very well liked.

Take a ride to somewhere off the strip and get pizza and bring it back to the strip. Alternatively, your choices are fine, imo.

If you have good pizza choices back home and you eat pizza here, you are being silly. Pizza Rock is great if you like nontraditional pizzas. They do a great thing where they put a balsamic vinegar reduction sauce on something that is almost entirely not unlike a pizza.

The best move at Pizza Rock is to almost order the fried green beans. Your server will freak the **** out. "They aren't breaded!!!!"
