I'm encouraged for the sake of LVL and humanity that there are 25 posts so far and nobody has suggested Chipotle.

Things like Fatburger and In N Out shouldn't count. Those are fast food restaurants not 'casual dining' restaurants.

And I hear eco74 is a big fan of Margaritaville.

for sushi, Sushi Mon and Hikari both NEED to be on the list. All you can eat both for under $30.

Sushi Mon gets slight nod for quality, but they do have a time limit (45 min for lunch, 1 hr for dinner I believe). Hikari has no time limit and offers sashimi as well as having a few things that SM does not. I'm from Hawaii where we have some excellent sushi and I'd consider both to be extremely good not even accounting for the price, and whenever I took friends to both places they were extremely blown away and satisfied.

Johnny McGuire’s Sandwiches
Hue thai is awesome, their sandwiches are amazing and I never see it repped here, which I guess I blame myself for.

Sushi Yama, however, is terrible and the worst sushi I've had in Vegas. Every AYCE option I've had outside of it has dominated it.

Johnny McGuire's in Town Square also has good sandwiches, and fries iirc.

TC's Ribs are really good, and cheaper than any other BBQ option I've had in town. Their sides are also good. Do not get their chicken as it is ultra dry. But if you're in that area and not eating at Sen of Japan...what gives?

Thoughts on either Memphis BBQ, Big Momma's Rib Shack or Famous Dave's?

Memphis BBQ is pretty good, and the meat is really smokey, I think that is why they are consistently rated so high with certain people. For me, it's borderline too smokey, but is still pretty good. FWIW most of what I eat when going to BBQ is baby back ribs.

Never had Big Momma's.

Famous Dave's is pretty good actually. They don't have baby backs which is a bummer, but their ribs are still quite good, and their BBQ chicken is some of the best BBQ chicken I've ever had. Also, their pecan pie is life altering. It's that good.

A place that I never hear mentioned, but I consider probably my favorite Vegas BBQ is Lucille's Smokehouse out in the District at Green Valley ranch. Their ribs, and pretty much everything else, is really really good. I'm a huge fan.

Famous Dave's closed their restaurant here in Illinois right after Thanksgiving. It was ok- the bbq chicken was actually really good, but everything else was probably replicated better at other bbq joints. Just posting about it because the chain might be in trouble. I'd go have the bbq chicken just in case, it really is very good.

Subway in the Orleans. It's pretty much like every other Subway -- EXCEPT that it's open 24 hours.

Fuddruckers in the Orleans has elkburgers.

Will second the recommendations on the Earl at PH.

Also the deli at TI; don't remember the name. Close to the poker room serving Reuben's that Homer S would love.

And of course Mon Ami Gabi with the authentic surly garcons.

For pizza, Settebello was great. The only downsides being it is pretty far off strip and honestly I'd get 3 pizzas between 2 people. They're not the biggest, most filling things out there.

I also really liked Amore, which is right next door to Naked Fish's. The deep dish wasn't greasy and the sauce was sweet. I'd definitely go back for it. I haven't had much Chicago style pizza, so keep that in mind, but I really thought it was good.

Hot n juicy crawfish was a god damn mess. Definitely don't eat there on WSOP break as you'll feel gross as hell afterward. Be careful if you bite your nails down too, the sauce will hurt your fingers. I don't want to steer people away from it, just saw it on the list and it isn't the type of place I'd frequent. Your choices are bag of seafood or fried things.

Anyone suggesting Fuddruckers as a good burger joint might as well suggest Olive Garden and Red Lobster as awesome cheap Italian and seafood while they are at it.

meh, I really didn't like Settebello although my girlfriend loved it. tbf I'm happy with slices of pepperoni from Metro Pizza so I imagine I'm something of a pizza simpleton.

bagel cafe
shish kabob house
agave
india palace
peppers
dw bistro
nora's wine bar
pop's cheesesteaks

they have delicious wings at FIX at bellagio but it is not casual or bar food.

only go to amore if you're not from chicago. their deep dish is edible but doesn't measure up to the real thing.

I thought Agave was overrated and not that good. Nora's wine bar really isn't casual, but either way I think the food there is only ok.

For a $6 burger, Fuddruckers is very good imo.

I know it's trendy to bash on big chains like Olive Garden and Red Lobster (and obv neither belong on this list), but Olive Garden is just fine if you want decent red sauce American-Italian. It's hard to argue it isn't a pretty decent deal. Not my first choice but I suppose I eat there twice a year when I want some "easy" food. Red Lobster is basically fried food heaven but they do have a pretty incredible shrimp nacho thing on their appetizer list.

Fuddruckers is quite good, last time I had the burger I was blown away. To be fair I had very low expectations, but still.

I don't really see the point of listing national chains. If you are visiting and go to one shame on you, if you live in Vegas it is the same as everywhere else in the world.

what about the All you can Eat Yama Sushi?

I thought is was "fair" for the price... I would definitely go back again.
