Holstein's is still my favorite burger place on the Strip, even though my last two visits weren't as good as my first ~10 ones. But I remember from previous discussions in this thread, that Holstein's isn't super popular in here.

I've never had a particularly bad experience at Holsteins but how in the world does it get so loud in there? Also this seems like a nitty complaint as I type it, but I think the booth seats have too much give and it feels like I'm sitting way too low relative to the table.

My Holstein’s caveat is that it has been a while since I’ve been there. 2-3 years.

My last two Holsteins visits have been < my first 5 or so also. The shakes are definitely worse now that it is just a contest to have giant absurd things on the glass. I want delicious boozy goodness not five donuts and a snickers in my shake.

Are the 2 Chada places comparable?

Holsteins is the nutz when it comes to burgers. The Gold style signature burger is probably the best burger ive ever eaten, the fries are also superb. Prices is also very reasonable in my opinion, considering the quality of the food.

Cant understand why it isnt popular in this thread, easily one of the joints i just have to visit at least 1 time everytime i am in Vegas.

Also +1 to Gordon Ramsay steak is way way overhyped.

Had the Beef Wellington during my summertrip, and it was a huge let down. Meat nearly raw in the middle, extremely small portions (not even close to getting full),and the dish was almost cold when i got it served.

Huge touristtrap in my opinion (expensive prices for mediocre food, attract guests no matter what due to Gordons name of course), that was the first and last time i put my feet in that place.

Vic and Anthonys at Golden Nugget for example is miles ahead, and best steak joint in Vegas in my opinion.

It is fine for what it is. It (especially the shakes) is very Vegas, so I'm not sure why all the hate either.

They overcooked the Beef Wellington? It should be completely raw in the middle.

Vic and Anthony's is fine but it's not even close to best in LV. I've only been to 4 or 5 and I'm not sure it's better than any of the others I've been to

Yes they are comparable. Chada Street's menu is more street food, but there is a lot of crossover in theme if not in dish.

Ambience: Romantic date to chada, casual date to either.

I prefer Chada all around - thought some of the options at Street underwhelmed, where I love almost everything at Chada, but you will have a good meal at either.

Man, im sure you had a great experience at Vic and Anthonys, but try some other steakhouses out. On top of that, they don't even really seem to give you much of a downtown price discount.

Any recommendations for bars that have Belgian beers on tap? In particular beers like St Bernardus Abt 12 and La Trappe Quad. Thanks.

I was underwhelmed by Chada Street. OG Chada remains possibly my favorite restaurant in Vegas. So was I underwhelmed because it didn't live up to Chada or because it wasn't great...I don't really know. It was probably at least decent.
