Had the egg salad sandwich at Goodwich yesterday and it changed my life. 10/10 would recommend that place if you're downtown.

Every Baskin Robbins I have seen uses almonds, not pistachios, in their pistachio ice cream..

I'm pretty sure they use both and it's labeled "Pistachio Almond." I'm not the biggest BR fan, but my parents loved the place, and I remember it wasn't all that bad.

I just checked the ingredients list for Pistachio Almond on the BR website and they do exactly the same thing as most of stuff you can buy in store. Almonds and artificial pistachio flavor and barley for coloring it green. Ridiculous that they are allowed to even call it Pistachio Almond instead of something like "Almond with Pistachio flavor" but that's just the way it is, consumer protection stands no chance to lobbying.

Same thing for Cold Stone Creamery, no real pistachios in their Pistachio ice cream.

My brother brought almost 50lbs of pistachios from his recent Iran trip and used some to make ice cream. That was freaking delicious.

Are there any really good ice cream places in Vegas, preferably without Strip pricing?

Lappert's. Their Pistachio contains pistachios.

But you probably want to try some of their other flavors...

Is fatburger any good? I always see it as a late/overnight option on UberEATS. Not much American food at 1 am getting delivered unless you count pizza. Fatburger looks...open

Fat Burger is solid, not remarkable, but certainly solid.

These posts should prolly be removed before a hamburger war breaks out.

That said, if you can eat chain hamburgers, Fatburger > In Out Burger. If you have a Shake Shack option, take it.

All a matter of individual taste.

Personally I consider Fatburger disgusting to a point bordering the inedible.

I think Fatburger is awesome if you are really drunk. Wouldn't go there sober though.

Fatburger's pretty good. I'd rank their category like this:

1. Shake Shack
2. Five Guys
3. Habit
4. Fatburger
5. Burger Lounge
6. SmashBurger

Note that In n Out is NOT IN THE SAME CATEGORY. You properly compare In n Out to any other burger place that has a drive-thru (McDonald's, BK, Wendy's etc) and it blows them all away. But it is not the same price point or service style as the above list. Anyone who disagrees is arguing against facts.

Am I arguing against the facts if I say that some Fatburgers have drive-thru windows and fast food joints on the Strip like McDonalds and Wendy's don't?

Can't really remember how much burgers at Fatburger are, but I don't think prices are too different from In-N-Out?

I like Fatburger and Smash Burger for the low end burgers...five guys is not bad...in n Out is lousy. I'd rather have a Carl's Jr. Burger.

Nacho is damn good, great fries and pickles too.

The M has the best burger I've had in Vegas...if you sit st the bar on the main floor, they have a bar menu...just fantastic

When I took down the 9pm at Caesar's a couple weeks back, I stopped at Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken at the Grand Bazaar Shops on the way back to the room- was solid! (2way humblebrag)

I've had their Tiramisu gelato that was really good. Definitely one of the best ice cream shops I've been to in the US, but not better than lots of gelaterias in Italy that charge like $1 a scoop.

Upscale casual: Salud Mexican Bistro, Sahara and Cimarron.

Highly recommend. Was pretty empty when we were there which is a shame. Pricy but portions are large. Ordered the lobster and chorizo empanadas (6/10 - a little dry, much prefer empanadas at Viva Las Arepas), campachena ceviche (8/10, super tasty), duck carnitas (8/10 - would have been great but they were a little dry), and the pork belly chicharron (10/10 - just do it). Took more than half the food home. Pissed that I didn't ask for extra salsa to take w me because those were v good also.

Large margaritas also
