Starboard Tack - utterly fantastic dive bar with a kitschy nautical theme off of Sahara and Eastern. Literally the best cocktail menu in Vegas that can fit on one page. The food was also eclectic and yummy.

Starboard Tack is my new favorite hang.
Great drinks.

The fried chicken fried rice was good but the fried chicken was pretty salty. Bartender somehow didn't put in our order of fish sauce chicken wings, but we had to run and didn't push it.

It's a dive, service not #1 priority, but very friendly. Food seems good, and drinks were great. Would go again for sure.

You did a good job ordering at Chada, not that there are many bad ways to do it. Taco y Taco and Yonaka are great, too.

Went last Wednesday at noon and there was no line - it was amazing. There was a line by the time we finished. Just a friendly PSA.

Combo pan roast is the nuts.

Don't get me wrong, I liked it a lot...it's just that my gal is a vegetarian (accept for salmon) and there are more choices at Lotus.

We had:

LARB
Rice powder, onion, mint, fish sauce, lime juice, chili powder With salmon. I'm
Liked this a lot.

Also had the MIANG POU
Lettuce wrap, crab meat, ginger, roasted coconut, peanut, chili, lime and onion
This was excellent!

I had the:
SEABASS TOD KRUENG
Pan fried Chilean seabass glazed with chili paste
Which was also excellent.

My gal had a tofu pad Thai that was ok.

I liked the place.

I ate at El Dorado Cantina while in Vegas last week. Must say that it was some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten - definitely the best I've had in Vegas.

Ate with a friend at the bar, the service was very good and the margaritas were fantastic. Portions were huge and I ordered two entrees and a main so I had the joy of waking up on a hangover and eating cold burrito for breakfast.

Having it attached to a strip club added an additional 2% enjoyment too for...reasons, albeit I was way too bloated and full after eating to even contemplate wandering into the club

Anybody else think el dorado is way overpriced?
I like it, but not enough to justify the bill.....

Overpriced indeed but not too overpriced to do once a month. Their table side guac is nuts.

Also Katana wouldn't go to Tacos and Beer on Taco Tuesday because of edm. I haven't been yet.

i've never been, and i don't doubt it's good, and i choose mexican food above all else, but these comments made me look up the menu.....lol burritos in the $15-20 range and two cheese tacos for $13.50.

the profit margin on mexican food is almost as obscene as the margins on breakfast/brunch, pasta, and coffee.

lol. if asked the hypothetical question 'if you had to eat only one cuisine for the rest of your life what would it be?' my snap response would be Mexican. i enjoy all types of food, but they have it covered from breakfast through dinner with enough variety i don't think i'd get bored.

Been meaning to hit this place up for 10 years now lol, although tonight might just be the night. Only thing that stops me is I don't like to wait and the few times I've been to palace station theres always a line. Maybe I can grease the hostess. Going to attempt it in a few hours, TR upcoming.

Palace pan roast is the best because you get the most meat...but as long as you're getting a pan roast, you're doing the right thing.

I am married to a hispanic. We were not impressed by el dorado cantina on father's day. It wasn't busy and our server sucked. Our food was mediocre as well. Overpriced and overhyped.

Doubt I could give a snap response to that question. Would go back and forth between Japanese, Lebanese, and Indian for a long time.

The plates are so large that you could easily share one among 2 people. Some of those plates could even go 3 ways.
