They definitely have the best fish and chips in Vegas, I also really love the shrimp appetizer or the steak tartare. The real steal is that they have a daily butcher block special, that is constantly changing and is fantastic if you are two or more people, they come up with a lot of new things that are almost always hits.

I'll be at the Linq end of March-early April for 5 days. Looking to eat cheap within walking distance. Maybe 1 or two dinners out with the wife that are a little pricey but all in all looking for some options that aren't fast food every day to save a little coin.

Off the strip at the Linq has happy hour and late night happy hour that's good. Dry rub wings and meatballs are great.
Brooklyn bowl also does a happy hour. They don't have the fried chicken platter on it, but do have wings and some other apps. Can get a couple those and a salad as dinner

Just to follow up. Nevada chicken cafe isn't good. Dry chicken, dry ribs. Wont be going back.

Flock and fowl is pretty decent. Had a bit of a chat with the owner about chicken rice, since it happens to be a 'thing' of mine. Will be going back.

Surprisingly acceptable indian tonight Mount Everest, sahara and valley view. Not as good as england, but better then I remember mint being.

What'd you get at Mt Everest? I've had catering once and takeout once, and I was not a fan at all. It's super close so would love to be wrong on this...

I've been there three times. I am sure that you were not wrong. If I were starving to death, and it were the only option, I'd probably go there again.

Right down the street from you is Rani's World. It is better for utility Indian food.

As an aside, I think I forgot to mention that there is a new Afghani place in the plaza kitty-corner from Mt. Everest that is pretty decent.

Interesting, I'll try Ranis. Indian food in general is terrible in Vegas (well Usa as a whole)

I had the chicken vindaloo extra hot, mutter paneer, bhindi and the black daal. The bread wasn't good but the rest was ok in a pinch. Literally the first Indian I've eaten in vegas in 10 years, and went in with very low expectations!

Rani's isn't British Indian food. If you are wanting a vindaloo, you will be disappointed

Taking my 9th trip to Vegas next week. I have never been able to find a crab buffet that serves crab legs that have not been half-shelled and served cold. Anyone have a good rec for a place with the traditional steamed crab legs that you break open yourself? I am not a fan of the half-shelled at all.

Aria buffet had them a few years ago...not sure about now, though

South Point Fri/Sat seafood buffets ($27) have both hot and cold crab legs. They give you the little plastic tool.

Is that the same as the Joe's Stone Crab in Caesar's forum shops? Is it decent?

No. Joe's Crab Shack is just a chain joint, but it has what you're after I believe. I've eaten other seafood there and it was alright. Passable.

It depends on how much you can eat

Best Hawaii food in Vegas? Going to be at The Linq all next week and really miss the Hawaiian food I ate when I used to live in Vegas. Specifically craving some good pasta salad and kalua pork.

Is Wo Fat considered Chinese or Hawaiian? It's my fave.

Don't know of anything near the Linq.
