Maybe its just be, but I've been there multiple times when a girl came in that wanted pizza but was too drunk to order in any meaningful way.

Its good enough pizza by the slice that I head there if I'm nearby. Can't think of anything else on the strip that's ~$10 I'm even remotely excited by.

I came across this somewhere, possibly here but can't remember.

I will be in town for the first time in a week and I read somewhere about 'secret' off the menu food items that were of excellent value.

An Internet search doesn't nessecary bring up the latest information on this.

So what deals are currently out there, and what's the magic word? Thanks.

First hit on Google

Are you looking for a specific restaurant or just in general for some reason?

Thanks! Just any restaurant. None in particular. My results were coming up mid 2015 and later so was trying to seek more reliable up to date info.

I guess I was primarily looking into secret steak off the menu items, but all other options are good to know also.

But saying you can't get a good steak for that money is both disrespectful to the animal that died for that steak and to people for who Ruth Chris would be the most expensive dinner in their life. I feel the latter group might be in the majority in the US.

Personally I wouldn't want to have my wedding dinner at a chain restaurant, but I bet a lot of people would be very happy if they could have theirs at Outback or Longhorn.
This. I think that I fit in that category. Probably could afford more, but I can't quite ever get myself to pull the trigger.

Maybe call Echo and Rig see what they can do if y'all are willing to drive/uber 20 mins off strip?

Herbs & Rye might also be a solid choice. Half-priced steaks & drinks during happy hour.

Been there for work party of about 20.

Food, drinks & atmosphere all solid.

Yup, 5 to 8. I should have mentioned that part.

Just a couple notes on Herbs and Rye happy hour - if everyone likes steak, this is a great option. If not, the only other items that are 50% off are mussels, clams and a couple other items, so the discount menu may not be for everyone, though there's flatbread as well at regular price.

The other point is that drinks are great, but expensive, so it's not the spot for cheap drinks.

Thanks wyman.
Love lotus , but figured I go with chada this time

I think I saw viva La arepas by the stratosphere last time. I'm not too fond of Venezuelan food (I'm Peruvian) , but might give it a go. Will def look into cornish

Two suggestions Myrna: If you like Ramen and Spicy, loved the Spicy Ramen with Killer Spicy Meat at Ramen Sora.

Outlaw Burger at Rollin' Smoke is the best burger in Vegas. BBQ is fine but the burger is outstanding.

Completely disagree. I had the burger there. Not a fan.

It's been probably 2 years since I had an outlaw burger fwiw, but it was a sloppy masterpiece imho. That said I do not enjoy being on the opposite side of gobbo on any food related opinion :-/
