You just might not be their target/ideal customer. For some of us, quantity doesn't matter so much. No big deal. I am not In-n-Out's target customer. They will either do well or won't.

Yes. All I gave was my opinion. I think they will need to switch some things to be successful, & I don't think limited menu with those serving sizes at that price point in that area will work.

I'm happy to be wrong, though & it's not like I'll be totally shocked if I am.

This. Plus: fresh oysters. Moo kum wan. Miang pou. Spicy herb spring roll.

You seriously can't **** this up unless you order pad Thai, etc.

Oh yeah, salmon dishes have generally good flavor but imo they tend to overcook the salmon. I've only given various salmon dishes a couple tries. Gobbo loves the salmon dry tom yum iirc.

But def finish w coconut sorbet w sticky rice. Best $3-4 you can spend.

Honestly the Chicken Street Pad Thai at C-Street is pretty damn good. And yes, ive had all the aforementioned dishes at Chada / C-Street.

Yeah sucks that the wontons are gone.

I've had pad Thai and drunken noodles at chada, lotus, and several other places. Sometimes you just want (or someone you're there with just wants) noodles. To be clear, the noodles aren't bad or anything, but you can get equally good noodles from most thai places in town. Making a trip to Chada and ordering noodles is like going to Kabuto and ordering a California roll.

But they would probably do a kick-ass California roll, no? Blue Ribbon has several California rolls, including an inside-out California roll with King Crab for $28.50.

You might be right.

Chada's pad Thai is not that

And ran into Gobbo while there. What are the odds? (Probably off the board). He got the last pork belly, because of course.

I disagree actually. I think the Pad thai at Lotus is the best I have had by a decent margin.

Thanks.

They certainly aren't targeting the customer who cares whether a burger is $4 or $10 if that is what they are in the mood for.
They also had a stall at the place with a collection of different Asian restaurants (and juices and desserts) at Linq that shut down. It was more than a mall food court though.
