Went to little Tony's at palace station last night. Good service. Didn't care for the calamari preparation but the pizzas were pretty tasty (tartufo: white w arugula, prosciutto, truffle; New Yorker: sausage, pepperoni, ricotta). Not super cheap but really easy in/out, lots of variety, decent meatballs, overall a good pizza experience. Comparable in price to grimaldis, maybe slightly cheaper. Slight lean to grimaldis on pizza alone but that's after one visit. Good happy hour prices on apps/drinks (3-6, 9-close) and super easy and convenient, which makes me more likely to go there than grimaldis.

Went at 530 yesterday and it was Half empty. Not a huge place either.

It's crazy how few items there are on Grimaldi's menu. Good pizza tho.

Basically just go twice a year. If you sign up for mailing list you get free 1 topping pizza for like a 10 day period around your bday ($18 value, can only use it once).

Best Grimaldi orders:

#1 Meatball, mushroom, garlic
#2 Pepperoni, sliced tomato, jalapeno

Haven't found anything since moving to Seattle nearly as good :-/

Grimaldi's pesto chicken and mushroom is phenomenal as well.

Upon further review, the pizza sauce on the Little Tony's New Yorker is a little too sweet for my taste. Will definitely still work this into the rotation -- was super happy with it all things considered.

I'm from Raleigh and a massive beer snob because of it. What are the best places on the strip for snobby beer/craft beer/local beer selection?

It's in the Linq (formerly the Quad, formerly the Imperial Palace). And I agree, TAG is great fun. Play some video poker and drink all the craft beer you can handle.

what does everyone think of skinny fats? location seemed terrible, bunch to a few offices near some strip clubs. there was a line out the door when I got there. ordered a burger and it was alright, my gf got a protein waffle also ok.

Kind of a yuppie place. Not remarkable.

I liked SkinnyFats OK - the cucumber/tuna boat was pretty good IIRC. Not remarkable is a fair assessment, but I thought it was a sold B place. Plus the concept was unique.

There was one supposed to go in the Bazaar at Bally's (http://vegas.eater.com/2014/12/5/733...n-on-the-strip), but they're not listed on the bazaar's website, guess they didn't make it.

Replace gf at earliest convenience.

On the other hand, you are mentioning the location. The best places to eat in Vegas (and pretty much all other cities) are in really ****ty locations.

Hello 2+2
My name is John. Moving to Henderson on July 5th. Me and two roommates are sharing rent on a 4 bdr w pool. Should be fun... Im 30 years old and I've been a server in the restaurant industry for 11 years. Ive worked every angle, high paced chaotic, business casual, fine dining steak and seafood(not white glove), served in Reliant for the Houston Texans games, high paced environments, slow, boring, all sorts of places...Honestly my wine knowledge is not too good. I rarely drink (1 or 2 a month maybe), never liked it much, so wanting to learn wine in depth has never appealed to me. But don't get me wrong, Im no bum here, I know some about wine but not as much as I'd like. But knowledge is power...Long story short I'm wondering if I could get some suggestions of good places to work, nicer areas than others, places to avoid, best environments, good money??? ALSO, are there any special license's needed?? Should I look in or outside a casino? I enjoy the hospitality business... The only two people I know in Vegas at the moment will be my 2 roomate's from Texas. I literally have no idea what to expect or what to look out for? Im looking forward to hopefully meeting some fellow 2+2ers out there though. Any type of info will be much appreciated. Thanks I will post this in a cpl other areas.

To work in a restaurant you'll need a health card, and to serve alcohol you'll need an alcohol card. Google is your friend on those.

There is a SkinnyFats on Durango as well. I agree, it's nothing particularly special but chicks like it because they think they're being healthy when they go.

lol what's wrong with the healthy version of a waffle? I guess I could suggest pigging out on regular breakfast stuff, but I think I prefer a healthy bmi.

There's a protein waffle joke somewhere in here.

Guy Fieri totally unremarkable - just lol at a $19 burger that isn't made to order.

Pop up pizza pretty great. Crust spectacular and toppings quite good. Unfortunately got the veggie one with potatoes on it, but was still good. Should've got anything with meat on it. Drunken ordering issues...

Coney island hot dogs is hilariously bad value. Almost 5 bucks for a tiny dog that didn't satiate anything.

I know it's one of the things that makes me a bad person but I want to make fun of anyone who goes to a Guy Fieri restaurant expecting anything halfway decent.

Anyone hear of Sushi Takashi? Their offerings are very interesting. 39 dollar 12 course, "bottomless" options, overflowing salmon bowl (the one I wanna try). Chef is from Hokkaido I think I read.

Did you peruse the nutritional values on their menu? You might be surprised to learn that adding a scoop of Mighty Max 40,000 Protein Powder does not happen to reduce calories when added to a recipe.

No different than a woman asking for the vinaigrette "'cause it's healthy" without realizing that she is effectively drinking a cup of oil with a chaser of vinegar.

They do offer sugar-free syrup, but that is just as wrong as a love-free marriage.

It isn't a sign that she is lacking in wonderful qualities, just that she won't be lacking meaty thighs in the future if she is fooled so easily by the word "protein."
