What's my best option? Looking for anything in the range of dirt cheap to just under fine dining.

Also I understand it's restaurant week? Anywhere notable I should check out?
I would get a huge deli sandwich from the Carnegie Deli at the Mirage. You could also walk across the street to White Castle (Casino Royale) or Grand Lux Cafe (=Cheesecake Factory)(Venetian).

Still looking...my favorite sandwich & I've ordered one from almost everywhere I've come across without finding anything memorable.

Hash House during brunch (Before 4:30). Has 6 slices of thick applewood smoked bacon with a cherry-esque sweetness to it on homeade texas style toast grilled. About 9 bucks w/ a side. It's the truth.

Would try...not really what I look for in a BLT, but maybe I'll order for lunch sometime this week.

1. Mozen Sunday brunch is incredible. Service is incredible, food is incredible, value is incredible, whole experience just A+++.

2. Lago is very good, but the restaurant is loud as ****. Also the cocktail pricing is offensive at $20! per drink. It's tacky but just walk outside to the slots and get a drink for $1 before you go in. Get the Mussels and the meatballs.

3. Fix is surprisingly solid. The raw tuna starter is excellent, as are the lobster tacos and sliders. Fun atmosphere.

Thanks man. Love me a good sandwich. I'm also trying to get over to Earl of Sandwich this trip as I have never been and it looks incredible.

I don't get the frequent Earl of Sandwich love... I thought it was very mediocre in my 3 visits

I'm staying at the Grandview right next to Southpoint and have been driving to Rio/strip each day for WSOP fun, but I've been having trouble with finding above average late night food options (or breakfast options) in the 3am-8am range with minimal detours of this route... Robertos Tacos on Las Vegas Blvd is about it

I might have picked a bad sandwich at Capriottis but I wasn't thrilled with that either despite the hype

You live next door to the South Point and you're having trouble finding late night food and breakfast options??!? I may be belaboring the obvious but you do know about the $4 steak and eggs and other great food values at the SP coffee shop? BTW there is a closer Roberto's Tacos, about 2 miles from you on Cactus and Bermuda.

I'll be in Vegas from 7/01-7/08 and I'm looking for a place that has amazing lamb chops preferably with large portions. I've run into the problem before where I order the chops and they are delicious but hardly have any meat on them. Anyone have any ideas?

want to throw in:

Cornish pasty company in same plaza as lotus. The pasties are off the rails, great portions, awesome variety. As good or better than I had in the UK. If you like pot pies and have a car I HIGHLY recommend making the trip over. Also have a decent beer selction.

Dakao on spring mt? bahn mi was good. Plus it's basically free at 3.50 a sandwich.

Tacos el gordo Awesome! the Chorizo and the sueduero were both just amazing.

I had hawaiian bbq at L&L that was pretty bad. Vaguely recall getting it once in LA like 10 years ago and also being underwhelmed . Is it worth it to give it another shot somewhere else, or is it always just that blah?

Wynn Buffet always has leg of lamb. All you can eat, of course. Not enough meat, go back and get more.

I've eaten at the Wynn buffet a few times but always for breakfast. I just checked out yelp and found a picture of a monstrous rack of lamb chops in the buffet line. I think this answers my question perfectly! Appreciate the suggestion!

L&L is going to be about the same everywhere, but I've never thought it was that bad. It's fast food, set the expectations accordingly. I have yet to find a really good plate lunch anywhere on the mainland.

I don't get the Earl thing either. Their advert should be "pretty much exactly what you would expect ordering a cheap sandwich."

There is no such thing as 3am-8am decent food unless you are really drunk. Cap is good on the meat to bread ratio. Avoid the turkey as they pull it rather than slicing it against the grain as civilized people do.

Ellis island for late night cheap decent food appx on your route.

I've been to Southpoint, food is good and cheap... I guess I just wanted something quicker that doesn't require a casino to navigate through. Honestly cheap doesn't have to be a prerequisite here

Ordered this today for lunch to-go from Sahara location with fries.

They put like an entire chunk of lettuce & unpleasantly thick tomatoes. The bread & bacon were good, but it was disappointing overall.

Also it, cost $14.31 after tax & before tip.

Thoroughly annoyed by whole experience. The search for the best BLT in Vegas continues.

Ohjah Japanese Steakhouse (sushi and teppan), 8595 S Decatur (4 mi from you), open every night until 11P. Denny's, 7200 LV Blvd (3.9 mi), but why. Chinatown, Spring Mtn Blvd W of Valley View, for example Harbor Palace Seafood, Cafe Noodle, Kaya AYCE Sushi, Pho So 1 all open until at least 2A (Harbor Palace till 5A) (10 mi). All local video poker bars have food, some are halfway decent, for example The Lodge at Cactus, 4666 E Cactus, dining room till 11P (2.6 mi). Jack In The Box next to the M (4 mi). Jayde Fusion AYCE sushi at the M, Oyshi AYCE sushi is farther (7775 S Rainbow, 7.5 mi) but better. Hooters, 7155 S Rainbow, 24H; wings, shrimp, burgers (8.5 mi on freeways).

If I've mentioned this before, my mistake...but Mochiko Chicken on Decatur and O'Bannon (just north of Sahara in plaza with a Trader Joe's) is phenomenal. Really good fried chicken strips and bowls, but I always end up getting the chargrilled chicken bowls. The sauces are phenomenal. Check it out.
