Bought a few Apple Fritters from Glaze for some of my favorite people today, I challenge anyone to find a better Apple Fritter. These things are dangerously delicious.

Where can I have healthy food around the strip? Wraps? Salads? Omelets? Chicken breast?

Greens and proteins is 5 minutes off strip on Decatur and Tropicana. They have smoothies, wraps, chicken breast, and a bunch of other healthy options. You can order it off Uber eats and this would be be my go to recommendation. Definitely the healthiest options.

On the strip you’re limited but cosmopolitan has the juice standard. They have mainly smoothies and juices but also a couple salads, avacado toast, and some other healthy options.

Palazzo/Venetian has a place called “truth and tonic” that looks healthy. I haven’t been there personally. Grand Lux inside Venetian/palazzo has a bunch of good salads but they are overpriced.

The Wynn cafe has a couple somewhat healthy options. I’ve tried the Caesar and their breakfast sandwich. Both we’re really good.

The Linq promenade has yard house which has a really good kale Caesar. You can order it to go online and pick it up.

Earls sandwich has a chicken Caesar wrap that when toasted is really good. Sometimes they act like they can’t warm it up tho and it definitely isn’t the same.

True kitchen at Caesar’s forum shops is good, healthy, but expensive.

Bellagio has a smoothie shop that has avacado toast but no salads.

I’d just Uber eats greens and proteins. Their wraps are fire, they have a bunch of all day healthy breakfast items, and even with Uber fee and tip it will probably be similar priced to most strip options

Vegas is definitely spoiled.
I'm under the impression that high quality AYCE sushi is a uniquely Vegas thing. AYCE sushi is rare other places, and when it exists it's like a crappy sushi buffet rather than having everything made for you like you were ordering a la carte.

When I leave Vegas, the food will be the thing I miss most. For its population/size I bet it's one of, if not the, best food cities in the world.

I think Greens and Proteins is mostly overpriced garbage…though perhaps not overpriced vs the strip, but once you add delivery fees…

I mean, I expect to pay more for healthy items. Less oil, less sauce, more actual food. But what I get from there is this:

https://www.greensandproteins.com/menu/#

Multigrain Pancakes $9= Fire
Breakfast burrito with Potato Medley $10= Sometimes they put too much turkey sausage, but still fire
Scrambled egg whites with Turkey sausage $8= Simple but fire
Grilled Buffalo Chicken strips $8= Simple but way healthier than chicken wings
Ahi Tuna Tostadas $10= Fire
Steak Tacos $12= Pretty sure they use Filet Mignon. The sauce is about perfect
Ahi Tuna Tacos $12= Just like the tostadas. Really good
Bulgogi Korean Steak Bowl $13= If you like Bulgogi, you'll love it
Angus Burger $11= Really good but I'll admit they use too small of a patty sometimes
Bison Burger $13= Usually bigger than the angus burger
Turkey Club $11= The Russian dressing makes the wrap
California Grilled Chicken club $12= Not as good as the turkey club, but definitely my second choice
Wellness drink $8= The best juice they have and most popular by far. Tastes like apple, pineapple and grapes, but has kale, spinach, collard greens, and wheatgrass in it that you won't even taste
Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana $8= My post workout smoothie. 700 calories. I order w no honey and still amazing
Green Leaf Berry blast/green shake/Acai smoothie $8= All good but not as good as chocolate PB and Banana
Build your own meals= Definitely the healthiest option. Salmon with brown rice and avocado is my favorite. You can pick your meats, veggie, grain, and sauce tho

But yea, none of what I mentioned tastes like garbage. All healthy, and tasty. I respect your opinion tho

And for all you can eat sushi, It's Sushi on Decatur and Spring mountain is the nuts right now. They keep raising the price but it's so good. Quality is better than any other all you can eat sushi place I've ever been to.

And if you're downtown there's a new place called Bangkok Street Thai Street Kitchen across from the El Dorado casino, they have some of the best Thai Food I've had. They just opened recently but the quality of the food is exceptional.

The Buffalo chicken strips are flavorless. Like maybe season them? There’s no calories in the majority of seasonings right? I don’t believe I’ve tried any of the other things you’ve mentioned. But the other things I’ve ordered have been okayish, not terrible, but I just think it’s terrible value.

Have you tried Protein House? Like that way more.

Is there a Diamond line at the Buccaneer buffet? I heard mixed info. Some people said there's a Diamond line, but others said no. Need to use the anniversary $100 dinner before it expires. Looking to go tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon/evening. Thanks!

I like Yama on Flamingo near UNLV. The quality is meh. So go there when you're very hungry. It's one of the more affordable options. Andrew Neeme ate there on one of his vlogs.

If you’re on the east side definitely go to Sakana instead of Yama, which was probably the worst AYCE I had in Vegas…went once probably 12+ years ago.

They’re all priced about the same, $25.95 for dinner + tax. If you find one cheaper, don’t go there.

Best places near the strip:

Sakana
Jjanga
Sushi Neko (same menu/owners as Sakana but Sakana is better)
Sushi Hero (this is further off strip but within 15m)
It's Sushi

Going to try Ono next. Never been there but good reviews.

AYCE sushi is my jam. Vegas seems to have a uniquely good cheap all you can eat sushi scene. From what I've heard, AYCE sushi elsewhere either doesn't exist or is some shitty sushi buffet. Vegas you get high quality ala carte ordering sushi for under $30 and that's just nuts.

Does anyone know what the deal is with 'Sea Salt' on spring mountain by the Macy's store... sounds interesting but I don't think I have ever seen it open.

This is a very important fact.

Another great option is Biwon as it’s all you can eat sushi and KBBQ and the sushi is very strong.

You can't fade it, but it's way south. Worth the trip imo.

Also south, on Eastern, is I Love Sushi. I hate sushi, but if I'm going to eat it, and no one wants to drive to Tsukiji, then I Love Sushi is my first choice.

tbh, I don't know if any of these places survived the Plague Year, but if they have they're worth checking out.

Is that the one on Durango near Rhodes Ranch? We went there once recently and enjoyed it. If you're the type of person who likes to order lots of different rolls, Mr. Shota is good as most of the rolls are 4-5 pieces, which will give you the chance to try a few more items before you fill up.

Most of the AYCE places allow you to do half rolls (4pc) so you can try more things.
