Really feel like not enough love is given to sin city smokers in this thread, really think it blows away every other bbq in Vegas (I’ve yet to try Michael simons place at the palms)

Michael Symon’s place was not good.

I liked the brisket burrito at Symon's, but everything else there was pretty meh.

Is Rick's Rollin Smoke the same quality as the original? I live a few blocks from there, so I really have no excuse not to go.

I used to live at Juhl, and we went to the bar quite a bit. I wasn't crazy about the BBQ. I didn't think it was as good as the original.

The bar however was actually pretty cool. They had happy hour 24/7 for locals. It is up on the second floor and the front patio opens totally up, if the weather is nice it's a great spot to chill. Last time we were there was a year ago when we moved to fremont, so the locals deals might have changed.

Did Brothers Pizza the other day, wings and pizza were fantastic as usual. They were so busy we had to wait for people to leave to get a spot for curbside pick up. First time eating out since the apocalypse and first time doing curbside pick up, the curbside thing seems pointless to me as you still talk to whoever and come in contact with them.

What did you get on your pizza LVB? Where is Brothers?

The beef rib at Mabel's was good but $50 for it is lol. Get the same portion at Rollin Smoke for like $27.

I used to work across the street from the pawn plaza. The Rick's Rollin Smoke had a very limited menu and seemed to be more expensive. This was a few years ago, a few months after it opened. I was super excited it was opening in there but it was disappointing and I never went back. Same for the poutine place that opened in there.

They have a carry out special 16inch 1 topping carry out for 8 bucks which is an absolute steal. Just did pepperoni but the pizza there is amazing, id put it on par with grimaldis and pizza rock. Its right off rainbow and w. springs area, if you check in on yelp they also give you free thing of garlic balls.

NOTHING ANGERS ME MORE THEN 1 BEEF DINOSAUR RIB FOR $50. THAT PLACE SUCKS..

BEST BEEF RIBS EVER @ VIA BRAZIL STEAKHOUSE.

If you go and send me a picture of you there and don't think they are best beef ribs ever I'll pay for your meal.

Been to a couple Brazilian places but not that one. Will have to check it out. Nothing better than a buffet of grilled meats.

Amazing pizza ? Although I am from Chicago, I'd have to cite the following as amazing, Sally's in New Haven, Panevino in Costa Rica, and Esther's Kitchen, Las Vegas (currently closed).

Just don't think Grimaldi's or Pizza Rock set any sort of high standard .... perhaps you do. (I have nothing against Brothers, I'd tried it and actually think it is better than the two "gold Standard" joints you seem to hold up as a paragon of pizza. )

(Grimaldi, at least on Eastern, is too inconsistent. Have never been impressed with Pizza Rock, sorry.)

Rosati, in my opinion, is better quality, as I am partial to thin crust, cut into squares, traditional sausage/mushroom .... not "amazing", Mr. President, not "perfect", but worth getting.

Metro Pizza has had real issues on consistency, enough that I cannot recommend it any more.

I am going to try Carmine's, a new place on American Pacific ? I want to see if it is the original owner from Villa Pizza re-entering the field.

Bottom of the barrel, in my experience, any place that serves "deep dish" bread, with a weak tomato sauce and rubber cheese as if it were pizza.

You do realize this is a LV thread correct?

I could rattle off a bunch of places ive been while i traveled through europe for 3 months and italy for a month but im talking about LV specifically. I never said Brothers was the best ive ever had but ive lived here in lv for 12 years and have tried many pizza places and a lot of them are average and some are just bad. For here in LV i would say that grimaldis and pizza rock are about the best options for pizza atm. Havent had Rosatis in a while but i do recall it also not being memorable either. And you're really gonna try and throw metro pizza in there lol?? thats a good one!

Pizzeria Monzu in Flamingo and Old School Pizzeria on Craig in North Las Vegas are the two best pizza places in Vegas imo. They’re owned by the same guy.

Dom DeMarco’s in Charleston has a thick square cut Sicilian that is the best version of that kind of pizza I’ve ever had. It’s phenomenal as well.

For the record I like Pizza Rock and really enjoy a pesto chicken and mushroom from Grimaldi’s.

Eh, youi asked an open ended , smarmy question about "amazing" pizza places I knew about.

Three places were listed first in my response. One was in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, Esther's Kitchen, which is downtown, is closed right now. Those were perhaps the "amazing" pizza,in places I have lived .... not rattling off a list of places I've been as a tourist.

I then moved on to less than amazing Las Vegas spots, in my experience. We disagree whether your favorites are "amazing", Mr. Resident. Also, If you understood my post, I was not recommending Metro.

Has anyione tried Settebello. It is really close to me in Henderson, but I never think to go there. .... souds more "foodie" than "pizza" when I was told about it.

I used to go to Settebello in Pasadena, CA nearly weekly. It is more "foodie" than spots like Pizza Rock, etc, but they use very high quality ingredients and make a fantastic Neapolitan style pizza.
