Going to be spending a fair amount of time at Bellagio / Aria during the WSOP. What's the best options for easy food besides Five50 and Snacks? (Looking for some new ideas, if there are even any)

Snacks use to a legit steak taco plate, but they got rid of it when they turned the place into a god damned burger bar. (The salmon salad is alright though)

Aria Patisserie?
Noodles at Bellagio?
Use UberEats/Grubhub, there’s some good places that are far away but will deliver at Valet (such as Mochiko Chicken)

Hmmm, that's a good idea. I'll have a car, but paying a little extra for delivery could be money.

Why didn't you tell us you'd have a car?

Is it reasonable to assume that you won't be playing poker 16 hours per day? This will affect answers.

So is that the usual setup when using food delivery to the Rio, just meet them at valet? Haven't used food delivery ever, but would like to this year, Rio has become the nut low on food.

Thanks

Are there any newer places worth checking out? Any amazing places that opened in the past 2 years?

Good question. Let's hope the LV locals can give us some suggestions.

Will be player poker most of the day. There's certainly days I'll drive outside of the Strip but certain days I'll just want a meal and want to directly back to my room to decompress.

Hey guys,

Is there a de facto top set of casual restaurants in Vegas? I haven't been in a couple years, but here are a few I liked before off the top of my head:

* Lotus of Siam
* Burger Bar @ Mandalay
* Ellis Island
* In N Out
* Tacos el Gordo
* Secret Pizza

Heading out there in a couple months, and I'm looking to put together some new places to check out. What is must try?

Here are a few I intend on eating at this summer

Le Thai
Lotus of Siam
Pizza Rock
Evel Pie
Flippin' Good Chicken & Burgers
Eldorado Cantina
Tofu Hut
Harbor Palace
Fix

A few I've had before, and some which have been recommended.

Got takeout from Thai Pan off 95/Decatur, 4.5 yelp rating is accurate. Pork larb and panang beef curry were both awesome, way better than most hole in the wall takeout spots. Total cost $18, got leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Only weird thing was the curry had peas in it which I don't think I've ever seen before....didn't really bother me though, it was that good.

anyone been to good pie yet? Curtas seemed to think it was the best attempt at east coast pizza in Vegas.

Quick review for Mian Szechuan noodle

If you like ramen, you'll like this place. I ordered chengdu zajiang noodles. If you can't handle spicy, order it with medium heat. So good I went there again the next day

I've been planning on trying Secret Pizza, but figured i'd see if anybody else wants to recommend the best on-strip NY Style pizza.

i seem to be one of the few people who doesn;t live five50, but I've had some average at best slices from secret pizza as well. I think your best bet at secret pizza is to get a whole pie so it's fresh. I guess what I'm saying is, options seem limited. If you want a giant slice pin up pizza is about the same price as the other two and theyre all just OK. hopefully someone else knows a better spot on the strip than these 3

Wood burning oven is a must for me. Crust is important. Locally to me i keep finding places with a too thin crust that goes in the wood burning stoves and then ends up being too floppy to support itself. Often times the sauce is too watery.

I'm not picky though. When i lived in Vegas i enjoyed the Venetian quick buy pizza.

Remembered reading the John Curtas review of this place, which Balbomb mentioned.

Not even on the strip, now I've watched the video.

Beats:
Subpar coney dog at 1am from American Coney Island at The D.
Didn't have time to make it to Ramen Sora.
This was a short trip and I ate way too much meat everyday (love the Mexican and Central American food out here)

Brags:
Pate en croute & Japanese sweet potato from Sparrow + Wolf
Chorizo taco, lengua sope & suadero sope from Tacos El Gordo
Pupusas revueltas from Olocuilta
Cochinita pibil & horchata from Los Antojos
Oxtail soup from Market Street Cafe at The Cal

Variance:
Had 2 of the forager slices from Five50 Pizza on separate occasions, one was amazing, the other was crap.

Secret Pizza is just okay and way overpriced. Not to mention they have that stupid tip prompt when you pay by credit card that annoys the **** of me. I usually tip very well, but asking for one to hand me a slice of pizza and a coke is a little much.

Had pizza somewhere in Paris, can't remember the name, it was horrible.

We ate at Flour & Barley located on Linq promenade and enjoyed it, though if you don't like greasy pizza it's probably not for you.

I think Secret Pizza is highly overrated as well.
