CiCi's is awful. Their pizza is worse than frozen pizza that you could cook in your own oven, and there is always like 452432623572346 kids their running around and vomiting and so forth. Absolutely awful.

Not when I was there. Pizza was not bad. The mac and cheese pizza was actually pretty darn tasty. Crowds were fine. Having two kids of my own, kids don't bother me.

Remember, you have to realize this is a $4/$5 AYCE pizza buffet. They also had excellent customer service. They were very responsive to getting you the type of pizza you wanted.

And I still say they had the best cinnamon rolls I ever tasted.

Problem is by the time they've made the pizza you want, you're full.

Regarding cinnamon rolls, you've not had many, have you? They're good, but not the best.

lol @ CiCi's. That's like a mild upgrade from Pizza Hut etc. In regards to pizza, I think Pizzeria Enzo @ Venetian is pretty good. 5 comp $'s for a 1 topping slice.

I'd say the pizza is below Pizza Hut. At least around this area.

yeah cici's pizza is a step up from cardboard and a step down from pizza hut but is comparable in price to cardboard.

All of the BBQ places I've been to in Vegas suck.

Its probably not quite what you have in mind, but Thai BBQ may be your best option if you're craving ribs.

Yeah, what is up with the BBQ? Specifically (and I apologize if I already complained about this in this thread) I've had fantastic ribs from Memphis Championship Barbecue a couple of times at the Best of the West cook-off in Reno. My wife and I made a side trip while in Vegas to get BBQ there and it was just awful, like not even close to the same.

This was the location on Rainbow...are either of the other locations any better? That location was in kind of a strip mall, so they probably didn't do the smoking on-site. Where is their smoker?

Just eat at union in aria. Seem fancy but no dress code. Entree ran about 40 - 75. We found that it was about as good as fix (bellagio). But priced a bit better larger portions.

Way below, I'd kill for more Pizza Hut buffets in the area. Put CiCi's to shame. Go to Cinnabon. Then you can eat good pizza.

LOL, One roll from Cinnabon is the same same price as CiCi's.

BTW, I admit CiCi's isn't gourmet pizza but then again, I'm obvious not picky about my pizza. I also value price and saving money.

Oh and CiCi's cinnamon rolls are better than Cinnabon! They melt in your mouth. With tons of frosting and cinnamon. Mmm mmm.

I wish they were near were I live.

I went to Holstein's in The Cosmopolitan. I thought the burger was a great burger. I had the Gold Standard burger. They also had a good beer selection. The beer I chose was not a big, bold, high alcohol or highly hopped beer. It was a small beer, in fact it was an Anchor Small Beer. After a day of walking in the hot sun I needed something refreshing and I needed volume, not strength. This was a perfect beer in a huge bottle. I had two.

It gets loud there because of the club right there but if you want a great burger it's a good choice.

Never understood the mystique of Cinnabon. They are not a very good cinnamon roll.

Airport food. Just don't be like Louis CK and eat Cinnabon at the airport you arrived at.

I don't think it's that bad. I also don't think it's the best BBQ choice in Vegas either though. However I think some of the snooty BBQ snobs will be hating and say it's not as good as great places in Memphis or KC or whatever, which is obvious to begin with.

One thing that does bother me about Famous Dave's is that they don't have baby backs. That's unfortunate.

depends on time and location. usually, it's not good, but you may hit a winner. saddest xyz explanation i have. as far as taste + freshness = when it hits it is fantastic ().

Last edited by atthebottom77; 07-11-2011 at 08:41 PM. Reason: but it is still cinnabon...

As far as BBQ goes I had some really good brisket at CJ's Texas BBQ on Sahara but I believe they have closed down now. To me Famous Dave's has a very inauthentic BBQ feel and the food just tastes about average.

I have been told that Memphis Championship BBQ is one of the better places around but I don't know if it's true.

Are you thinking of McRib?

Unless you are in France, where they have McRib-bit.

Weiss on Sunset Rd and Green Valley Pkwy is amazing. Kind of expensive but as good as the ones in New York. I'm Italian but I grew up on Long Island in a Jewish neighborhood..........so I know a good Jewish deli.
