The lunch bento box from AYCE on Flamingo/Pecos is pretty amazing value. For $11 you can choose a main (steak/chicken/salmon teriyaki w/ veggies or tempura, katsu, etc.), plus you get a spicy crab roll, potstickers, miso soup and salad.
Smith's deviled egg sandwich. Lots more visual interest than I was expecting. The color made me think that it would be loaded with mustard but it wasn't. Lettuce added some lovely crunchy.
Despite being marked down, the bread was fresh -- better than 7-11. Lemonade was tart, not sweet; perfect.

The Smiths marked down section can be a jackpot sometimes and the stuff isn't even expired or gone bad yet. Ill usually load up and just buy all the steaks/meat/bread/whatever and put it in the freezer and feel accomplished with my haul lol.

I have a Smiths for marked down meat, one for baked goods, one for sandwiches. I used to have one for 10 fer $1 avocados, but I think they wised up and started making their own guacamole.
Guys do you mind starting your own threads for this stuff please? The last two pages is really not what this thread is about.
So what is your definition of casual dining? Im sorry but i dont consider 18 a tomato and 150$ lunches that have dress codes a "casual" dining experience. I am new to the thread so is there like a table minimum price wise for the casual dining thread lol?
Yes i did get off topic by stating a good deal i found at Smiths, sorry for the uproar.

Reason: Smiths duh
Anyone been to Angie's lobster rolls for some value lobster? I've heard good things.
Good value, taste is decent. I'd stick with the cold lobster and avoid the fried ones as you can't really taste the seafood anymore. Probably something I might crave 1-2x a year but I don't think it's good enough for a regular visit.
interesting...thanks for the reply
we were there with a group this past feb and it felt like the place was being run by a bunch of youngsters
food wasn't bad by any means but not quite up to the same level as chada back in the day
Lamaii may want to rethink this one in light of recent events.
oh haii, or otherwise known as acknowledging your reference in a different way
men go catfishing restaurant menus looking for value meals all the time
homer simpson made that obvious when he threw a soda across the springfield kwik-e-mart counter
Another epic dinner at Toca Madera. First dish in pics is a ahi tuna salad that’s not on the menu, they give us these little unique dishes for free since we’re there pretty often, it’s just whatever the chef comes up with. Have had prob 5-6 different ones they’ve let us try and all of them have been amazing, hopefully they will add them to the full menu.
Tried the center cut wagyu ribeye this time ($98), steak was incredible and I was surprised that the pickled red onions went really well with it. A5 wagyu tacos are worth the $34, the real wasabi they put in them is key. They changed up their regular steak tacos and the new ones are even better than the old version. Think around $18 for those. Best hamachi and caesar anywhere. Love me some Toca.
$266 with a couple cocktails plus tip. InKind app promos covered about half that.
