I'm too lazy to look it up, but Nick Maimone is a really well respected online player with a lot of results.

I gave up on getting a nice dinner and instead followed the Trooper's lead and woofed down some Five 50 slices while waiting on a seat at Aria. It hit the spot.

What was hilarious was the "couple" sitting next to me at the five 50 bar. The dude looked like a short hulk hogan (the older Hogan, not when he was young) and his lady was a hooker, and he was telling her all the things he was going to do to her that evening....and asked for her opinion on the matter. This went on and on.

At one point I asked to use the Parmesan cheese and red pepper shakers they were using, and the guy gave me the death look, as if he's going to kick my ass, I guess because I was interrupting his courting ritual. No joke, in return I gave him a "waddup" since I was in Trooper's place. It caught him off guard and his facial reaction was priceless.



Now hitting up Aria cash games

Pretty weak evening last night. Wasn't in the mood for much so I lagged it up in a passive 1-3 Bellagio game and had everyone pissed at me for playing so aggressively. Sorry, forgot to take a pic but in for 300 out 650.

This is a pic of someone's leftover room service that's been sitting outside my room at Bellagio for 3 days. I finally called and asked them to clean it up since I'm sure flies will start swarming. If you look closely you see a half-eaten roll discarded on the floor, which wasn't there yesterday which tells me some LVL drunk tried to eat the leftovers and threw it down since it was so stale.



Now I'm getting my craps on...

Up a few hundred...

I feel your pain, as I too have had my ass handed to me in the pits. I go with the shooter and crap out. I go against and the shooter goes on a heater. I've been so consistently wrong on dice this trip that it's been laughable. Craps dealers were shaking their heads.

Just had one of the best meals I've eaten in LV (and I've eaten at several different restaurants at all the good properties). I went to Sage inAria and had the smaller tasting menu at Sage in Aria, with the wine pairing. Here's a pic of the menu of dishes they served:



They started with some tiny dish on a spoon that tasted amazing but I can't remember what it was called. Then came the beef wagyu tartare dish. This is my new favorite single dish in LV.



It was served with a dry white French wine I failed to photo.

Next came the Scallops dish. Oye it was good.



It was served with an Italian red wine



Next up was a brisket type beef dish that had been cooked for 48 hours using a cool vacuum process. The meat practically dissolved in your mouth it was so soft. It was paired with a French red wine.



Last up was a lemon cheesecake that I failed to get a picture. It was served with this very sweet Italian sparkling white:

It's 5 am and I'm finally heading back to my room after a roller coaster marathon daylong grind. Really don't know but think I was in for 12 and out for 17. Hopefully I can get some sleep now.

From my experience this is where some random is saying: "Cocaine, molly" underneath his breath.

I know it's from your last trip, but I was catching up on this TR. Le Reve is one of my favorite shows. Wynn was actually considering it as the name for his hotel originally.

The story has actually evolved and changed over time. Now, the girl (the dreamer) is struggling between her lover in the real world and the temptations of her dream world and a separate lover in the dream. I am kind of a theatre nerd and like to read up on shows before I see them.

Ah, my girl and I also went to Sage this trip since the last time I had gone with friends, it was outstanding.

Kinda disappointing this go around, albeit we didn't go with the tasting menu and ordered a la carte entrees. The foie gras brulee was the highlight of the meal. I didn't particularly care for the lemon cheesecake in its deconstructed form, but glad to see someone liked it.

You seem to have a similar taste for dining so I'd love to hear what some of your fav spots are in LA.

Now I completely understand it, and the show makes a lot more sense. I wish I had thought of reading up on the show beforehand. Now that you've mentioned that, I'm going to start doing it in the future.

Thanks! I actually don't eat at nice restaurants outside Vegas that often at all, since I don't like spending the extra money in the "real world". But because of that attitude, it probably makes my Vegas dining activities more enjoyable.
